Pogba did well for the 15 or so minutes in PS testimonial
He does look particularly athletic for his age too
Really looking forward to see how he, and the other mentioned get on.
Wonderful news, I'll have to check for myself but right now I'll take your word for it. I'm a big fan of pogba and I think he has the talent to break into the team within time without needing to go on loan. I know this is a big statement to make but I truly feel if he steps up his progress then he could become a young player of the season in the next 5 years.
I'm surprise fergie didn't mention morrisson or petrucci, although ravel is currently injured
How had Peteucci been getting on since his return!
How had Peteucci been getting on since his return!
-------------------------------------------------
He was looking back to his best at the end of last season and seems to be on the right tracks this season too... I think he captained the team last time I watched the ressies
Cool. We certainly have some real talent in the central areas. Do you think that Peteucci and Ravel are too similar? Or do u think Petrucci will play in behind the striker?
I think Morrison if he keeps his head down, then he will be our answer to jack wilshere. It's so exciting having a chance to see a new generation of players trying to break through. It will be a lot more exciting if and when we get to see them fulfil their promise

Couldn't agree more.
I thought we would get to see Morrison first as he has already made his debut, albeit for a couple of mins only
Tunnicliffe is another I expect to see alot of when he gets back from the Posh. Paul Scholes rates him very highly
I think that Cleverley plays in a similar fashion to Wilshere. They both seem to glide over the pitch and play a short and snappy passing game. Do u think that in the future Pogba, Morrison and Cleverley will make a good 3 in the middle?
Do u think that in the future Pogba, Morrison and Cleverley will make a good 3 in the middle?
-----------------------------------------------------------
I think the Tunni, Pogba/Cleverley, Morrison/Petrucci
would be the way to go.... Tunni just has the bite that we have lacked for some time now, he can defend, attack and use his strength to get at people.
Good times... will be hard for Ravel and Petrucci though as they play in a similar area to Rooney
I haven't seen as much of Tunni as the others. Is he as promising? I've heard a lot of fans really talking him up.
Never really seen this kid play live so I can only go by what fellow UNited fans have been saying about him and if thye are to be believed, he is a fantastic prospect in the Viera mould?
Iv seen glimpses and he does look physically and technically ready, it's just a case of whether or not he is mentally ready
Personally... I think Tunni is the most likely to make it, not that he is any more talented than the rest... just that the 1st teamers above him are perhaps more droppable or likely to get rested/rotated (think Carrick and Fletcher).
Tunni plays a somewhat defensive box to box game... a bulkier version of fletcher.
Of course, he we need to see how his loan spell works out.
Benzeguero - of what I've seen of pogba, the way I would describe him is a player in the mould of vieira but the vision and ability of scholes, I really believe that and I'm so sure that he will have a future with us, he's just got talent in abundance and it's his strength that separates him further from the rest of the pack and it's his strength that gives me reason to believe he will be able to step up first out of the lot
Theres obviously a long way to go but if the three of them can fufil their potential then I think they could be our answer to Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets.
People will say im going over the top but the fluidity and the understanding the three of them had last year during the youth cup run was something special. As I say theres a long way to go but the potential and the ability is there
Can't wait to see Pogba in action.
There is a lot of debate about the carling cup and how clubs disrespect it but does anyone else really look forward to it and seeing how our youngsters get on? personally I look forward to it more than the champions league group stage which are usually very drab boring affairs (especially when we play away from home)

Yep I love it
I just don't like paying first team prices for the game.
United should charge reserve team entry prices if the reverves are being blooded
Macca - fair point, although surely at the end of the day its down to the quality of football beeing produced not necessarily who is playing? havin said that after the garbage displays in some cup games - Leeds, Exeter and crawley town spring to mind united should be refunding the tickets

I spend over a hundred quid for tickets in the South Stand for Crawley and left the ground seething
ST holders don't even get a choice
Aquantum - I made an article about it on 606 sayin how I look forward to cc games more than FA cup because I love seeing our youngsters play, I did of course get shot down for thinking this

If I was watching on TV, I wouldn't argue with that too much but CL nights at OT I don't mind paying full whack for, reserves playing in the CC cup, I do mind
are united the only club who do the compolsary ticket scheme?
Anderson - i totally agree mate - although i suppose it just depends on the draw - the main thing this year is that I beleive the reserves or youngsters comming through will perform better than the likes of bebe, and obertan
Speaking of the reserves i think they are playing tonight vs bury
Unitedredmacca I understand what you're saying and I agree with you to an extent. It's hard for me to say because unfortunately I don't live in Manchester or hav the money right now to get down for games. In retrospect it's easy for me to say this when I'm not parting with £50 but I think even if I was a season ticket holder I would still want to see the youngsters because they offer something that the older lot don't, the excitement and the element of surprise of what they can do. Fair enough in recent years we haven't had the greatest batch, but now with the latest group of players including our young defence, the likes of macheda, welbeck and diouf up front to go alongside the possibilities of pogba and co, we have a much more exciting group of players to play in the carling cup games so hopefully you'll get more for your money. It's one thing to watch them for reserves but it's a whole new ball game watching them step out on the old Trafford turf. There's no air in the world I prefer to breathe in than the air at old Trafford, you dont realise how much i miss it
