Crazy bogey team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're not a bogey team
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really?

When was the last time you beat them?

Funny how quickly you guys can all fall out over a positive result
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's amazing the amount of people know much more than a double bundesliga winning manager, suppose that's why they're on here on a Saturday afternoon and he's managing Liverpool.

We've been on a great run and a point from this isn't a bad result.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ah ye managers NEVER get it wrong
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's he got wrong?

We've not won a game after an international break, we lost this same fixture last season and a point isn't a bad result.

We won't be able to steam roll every team we play.

This was the one game in our present run of games that many had down as a potential slip up. No disaster, still created plenty of chances.

It was not a bad result. Firmino should have scored but most teams will lose there.

Wrist slitting twunts.

Very unlucky not to have won against a Soton team who have an excellent home record.

Our keeper didn't have a shot to save and other than some poor finishing from Firminho, Coutinho and Can it was another dominating display.

A point away from home is not a disaster.

We destroyed them last season... in fact I'm sure that we beat them regularly?

Not overly disappointed.

Should have won but Southmpton were well organised and defended very well.

Could have won but we move on and we have some favourable fixtures coming up. Let's make them count.

Leaving subs until the 77th minute was criminal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, we were still on top and creating chances!

If he'd have made them earlier, you'd have found something else to moan about. You're like bird on rag week!

Liverpool created enough chances to win this match. One of them days, still a point away from home at a difficult ground is a good result.

Bad point on the balance of the game.

Decent point in the context of that game normally.

Another very tough away game without losing.

Don't get me wrong, on paper this is fine. A draw against Southampton away from home is not bad. But having watched that match you cannot say we did all we could. Overall our play was good especially in controlling the game and it shows how good we are really that they just let us have the ball considering their possession stats this year.

BUT, we were not on song up top and all 3 looked varying degrees of tired. It looked obvious to me that Mane would do nothing from about 50 minutes and he proved me right. It was screaming out for subs. What is the point of having studge and origi (who both have looked superb previously when number 1) if you wont bring them on in this situation?

And we now have a week to prepare for the next game and go on another 5 game winning streak.

It's an improvement on the same fixture last season.

Score draw

The defence looked very solid on the few occasions Southampton put them under pressure. Good concentration, which has been our undoing on many occasions.

I don't think Southampton will play a more defensive game again until they play us. They were poor going forward and lucky not lose. We had plenty of clear chances. I can't believe Firmino missing that chance. Clyne, Coutinho and Mane had big chances as well. In another we could have won 3-0. Our keeper didn't have to make a single chance. He was a spectator. That was two point lost.

ye fine. But today looks like dropped points to me. And why didn't we throw on our backup strikers to give it all we have got? I think it was a mistake from Klopp
