Wheels coming off, to be fair it was to be expected
I this his famous 2nd season syndrome? Never manages to replicate his promising starts? We have been truely pathetic this season. No pressure on him yet but he needs to turn it round asap. This was our run of 'easier' fixtures and we have lost 2 in a row.p

I called it at the start of the season. Too many games for Leicester, along with losing Kante. Thought they'd be in a relegation fight.
Mind you, completely redefines rollercoaster few seasons. Bottom at Christmas to survival. Win the league the following year. Struggle in the league in a relegation fight and flying in the CL as Premier League Champions.
He should have walked on a high last May.
I´m a bit worried by Ranieri´s reluctance to change anything, which is a bit strange given his nickname.
Surely now he has to drop 4-4-2 for our next PL match - we´re just not good enough to get away with it this season.
Time to do what we did under Pearson when we were staring down the barrel - three at the back, pack the midfield and back to basics. We´ve got to stop leaking goals and the defence was an absolute shambles yet again today.
The really worrying thing is that this was the month we were supposed to pick up some much needed points. We had a very tough start, but Ranieri must have been targeting these last two games for a win and a draw minimum...not two losses.
Selling Kante was the biggest mistake in your history. He was the heartbeat of your team. When you lose a world class player...its gonna take away a world class element.
That was me on RL about 18.40
Mike, you seem to be under the impression we had a choice with selling Kante.
Our biggest mistake from that perspective, was the sell-out clause, but even from that perspective, I'm not sure many fans/pundits/people in the game would have expected his value/profession to fluctuate that much.
I'm assuming you mean the biggest impact on our progress has been the loss of Kante and of course, despite other factors,it's kind of a given to say that now.
I was furious after the game but some people are going well over the top in the grander scheme of things
*switch 'game' and 'profession' around
Lol, you're not going to get relegated. The players are too good for that, they'll easily do enough to stay up. You can't expect them to push hard in the PL anymore or at least this season. They won the League last year, so they've got nothing to prove in the league anymore. For Lester this year its all about the CL.

Hey Huth dude! I gotta agree, any Lester fan criticising Ranieri ain't being fair at all. I think Lester are doing as well as they could have been doing this season, anyone expecting them to be top 6 and doing well in the CL was dreaming. They were only going to be able to make one their target and choosing the CL is the right choice since they're never going to be back in this competition realistically. I think Lester fans need to just relax and not worry too much about their league form this season and just enjoy the Champions League games since this is probably a once in a lifetime experience for a Lester fan.
Word dudes.
I don't think Ranieri deserves any criticism yet, but it is now time for him to earn his money. I think we need to change.
I fully agreed with bringing Albrighton back in and with the line up (except for Amartey). But once again we look vulnerable at the back and lacking creativity up front. Those two things together have been apparent in our last few games and can't be sustained.
Last season we were creating chances left right and centre at the start of the season, and rock solid at the end of it. With the same players bar 1!! So I don't believe in the doom of some, but do think that the players need motivating somehow.
I can't beleive I'm saying it but I also think a formation change to 3-5-2 may best suit our problem and get more out of a Slimani/Vardy partnership. It would also protect us more at the back.
But Whatever Ranieri does, I think he needs to change something.
He's not lost it that's for sure, but he does need to find something, and that's a team that can create more chances for me.

352 has shown to stop the rot and make us look more solid, noticeable that many teams are going 3 at the back to change their fortunes such as Chelsea, maybe not playing 352 but we need to stop the silly goals again just like we had to two years ago.
We also need to get more urgency in our game from the off, not just after the other team scores, we give other teams far too much respect.
It's almost as if we have skipped the last 12 months and this is the season straight after the great escape with a Manager that many had written off before he even arrived.

Ah, another team that has won the Premier League unlike the $puds.
Better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all 😉

Still grating you that Spurs came 3rd in a 2 horse race.
TB - I disagree I'm afraid: I blame the players entirely. Last season they fought in every match like their lives depended on it. This season they're fighting in every match like a post-match bag of liquorice allsorts depends on it. The hunger's gone, and that's the main problem.
There are some side issues, like travelling, Kante not being adequately replaced and new signings being disappointing, but ultimately at the moment it doesn't matter what tactics or formation you play: Until the players once again start going out prepared to throw all but the kitchen sink at the match then nothing will change.

Completely agree with this, how Ranieri can be blamed is puzzling me. He's tried changing things around and apparently we have changed formation this season and played five at the back a few times, it's just not been noticeable and hasn't worked.
Of course the hungers gone, the players had the season of a lifetime last year, of course their motivation will have gone now for this season

Don't get me wrong, the players have their part to play but the intensity and desire should be inhecred into them by the Management, we show far too much respect to almost every team we play.
After Saturday it was most surprising to see CR state the players performed well, this suggests an underlying issue and it stems from the Top.
It was always going to be interesting to see how CR fared when he had his first really tough period ( losing and out of form ), so far, in my opinion he is struggling to deal with it effectively.
The saving grace is the CL results so far, let's be honest though most of those performances have been below par despite the results, let's hope we can clinch top spot tomorrow with a win and see where we go from there in the League.
Still Keeping the Faith.
