So when you move out, you'll have a TV you and your fellow dwellers all chipped in for.
Who keeps the TV?
are you gonna be paying for sky sports ultra?

have they shown that in 4k?
Think you need a device capable of playing in 4K or something....
so it is - that would be epic tbf, love planet earth
Apparently the BBC don't have the ability to play TV in 4K yet....silly.
I'd wait a year for 4K, that or spend a bit more now if you really want one. About 800 odd minimum (might be able to get a deal this week though).
Not enough things shown in 4k to make it worthwhile yet.
Sky Sports/ Movies still charge £5 a month for HD ffs, and they only have the occasional thing showing in Ultra HD.
BT Sport I think have a channel which some games are shown, Netflix have a few shows, that's about it.
Wait until it becomes standard imo. Big budget films and shows are starting to be filmed in 4K, but most channels aren't even available yet.

Don't know what all the fuss is about 4K,unless your eyesight is perfect not a lot to be gained, that is if you really want to see every spot and pimple on people's boatrace.
If you've got a flat wall get a projector mate, you won't be sorry
Go Panasonic and you can't fail.
Best blacks in terms of darkness aspect when watching movies and a very good all round picture.
Plus their smart TV options are very good.
What the hell do you need a 55 inch TV for?!
Compensating for something?
I have a Panasonic Vera. Can't knock it.
For some reason though, Game of Thrones always looks too dark.

the issue of most programs and channels not supporting 4k is something I have brought up, some people just want the flashy stuff and If I wanted to compensated for something would be looking at 65" tv
I personally like Bush myself
Aldi have one on special tomorrow.
49" UHD Smart TV 4K only £329.99, includes a 3 year warranty.

You will have to be smart though. These things sell out within 5 minutes of the doors opening (8:00am).
May get that for my games room
There are only a few companies capable of making these panels.
These include Samsung, LG, Panasonic & Sony and you will find that a lot of the cheap TVs still have the same panels as some of the most expensive TVs.
Melton is right, unless you're desperate you should wait to buy a 4k TV.
What you really want is a 10 bit HDR 4k TV. Most of the cheaper 4k tvs are 8 bit or 8+2 bit. The cheapest 10 bit HDR 4k TV is the Samsung KS7000. Just under a grand at the moment.
To clarify, there are cheaper 10 bit 4k tvs but they are by companies like Hisense which may not be attractive to you
