Iwobi should be nowhere near the first team squad. Partly agree about Mustafi . Not a shocker but not one of his better games tonight. Ox deserves a start, but I suspect that he'll let us down again.
I know why Iwobi plays because he links well with the Mf but the kids need a break now.
I mentioned in my thread but I have no idea how we have not lost a game this month
Iwobi used to have end product but this season he's just gone completely off the boil for some reason.

Two words.
Mental. Strength.
Nothing wrong with iwobi. It's completely normal for young players to break through, look great for a while then go through a poor period. Its about how they recover from that poor period and Iwobi still has time
OP, you are spot on. Things are not as bad as many knee jerkers will have you believe. In my opinion we did not play terribly, we lacked a bit of cutting edge maybe, but are still unbeaten. It is likely that we will finish second in our group however it remains to be seen how much, if any, of an disadvantage that will be. As things stand i.e. with Arsenal in second place, we would face one of the following in the knock out stage:
Barcelona
Juventus
Atletico Madrid
Napoli
Dortmund
Monaco
I personally would fancy our chances against anyone of them apart from Barcelona.
Thats the way it is and you either man up and accept it and see where we can grab points while he is out.

Just fook off.
Athletico would just grind us down. No chance against them
Dortmund would just be too much for us on the attacking front
Don't need to Jump on iwobis back. He's certainly got great potential, but being young inconsistency is always to be expected. He definitely should be on the bench now. Wenger should ease him back in late in games for a bit now. No more starting big games. Plus ox looks to be hitting some form. He should be ahead of Iwobi for a while now
I'm a big fan of Gibbs, I don't think the importance of pace can be underestimated in our system. If we as a team are to push up and squeeze opposition then we need defenders who can recover and are comfortable defending 1-on-1. We got rid of one bottleneck in Mertesacker and now Monreal needs to be dropped too I think. But as usual I think Wenger will make the decision a season or two late.
I agree Iwobi's play has stagnated a bit on the left. But he seems to start in that position by default seeing as we don't actually have a dedicated left-sided player in the squad.
