In my opinion, 4-1 will be a decent outcome for Pakistan. There are several youngster in the team and Zimbabwe can be a difficult side to beat in their backyard. They can improve their record against subcontinental sides if they improve their technique against spin.I think they will be a formidable side to beat in the next World Cup.

Afridi - with Dravid re-emerging maybe Moyo could have done the same but for me he looked like he was playing for memory and was rightly dropped. We really need to give the younger guys a game or we will have an Indian situation.

MoYo hardly played any decent cricket for several months. anyne is bound to be rusty after that length of layoff.

why does farhat get so many chances when MoYo got just one?

Thats precisely my point.Farhat and Malik are much inferior in batting technique, record yet they are consistently been called back.

Topdawg you are correct but don't forget MoYo had a bit of an ego issue and clashed many times with Malik, Afridi and other members but i guess you would say then why is Malik back? I just think its time to draw a line. Azhar Ali is getting better and we need to get Umar Akmal in the game earlier he bats way too low down the order which is wasting his talent.

umar akmal is wasting his own talent, it isn't because of where he bats in the order. he had enough time today to make a decent score. he managed 39 off 56 balls and was out with 6 overs, including the powerplay, to go.

he should have been looking at a score of about 70 odd but he fell short. again.

Top i dont see that as Umar Akmals role. I see it more as to bat at number 4 and bat through the innings to score 3 figures rather than the late contributions he makes. He needs to be given that responsibility and told that we need big scores and not cameos. He has said before that he wants to bat up the order and we should let him. He would be ideal to split Khan and Misbah.

I was looking at Cricinfo headlines and saw 'Pakistan hold nerve in tense finish and I thought jolly good , we need a strong pak team for world cricketand about time they showed the tight finish temperament. That was till I saw who their opponents were

You need a Strong Pak team??

If I am not wrong you are from Australia.

So what were the results the last time we met in a test match? or in a T20? or well what were the results the last time we met in an ODI? eh...

A strong Australia will be equally good for world cricket, try improve urself..
