N'Koudou passed the ball backwards about 12 times. Not what I'd class as lively

I knew this would happen the moment. We rest players in one of the biggest games of the season and end up losing both that and the following.

Doesn't take a Romani gypsy fortune teller to see that one coming.

lacked a leader, again again this is a repeat, folded too easy when the pressure came, Son has lost it, Dembele no were near the same player as last year

Yes have willan a clatter which is nice but otherwise done nothing

Think George is better for when we are able to play counter attacking when a team has to score against us. Against a packed well organised defence or like today when Chelsea shut up shop much harder for him to have an impact.

N'Koudou got past Ivan (awful defensively now) and Azpi once but failed to deliver a cross. Didn't really do much.

4 of his 5 attempted passes forward went to the opposition. Yes that's a promising start

Lacking Toby and Rose made a big difference IMHO.
But we should still have gotten a point out of it.

I've been calling for this guy to get minutes for weeks. end product needs a lot of work and he's very raw, but he's fast direct and skill full, and loves taking on players, the only other players that i can argue do that are our full backs…… so why the fack are we not using him. instead we are using dele alli, who at the moment is a total waste of time, and clown shoes, another total waste of time.

i would add eriksen to the list but he scored yesterday so i have to give him a week off

Alli set up Eriksen's goal yesterday. Now that Kane is back I suspect he'all resume the link up they had and get his form back. Hard to form a connection with Janssen when all he's doing is barging or backing into people

N'Koudou offered very little yesterday, just as he's done in all of his other showings

ledders….. he didn't exactly put a goal on a plate for him did he? eriksen smashed it in from long range

if we were going to equalise it was going to be down the left supplied by nkodou, as he looked by far the most dangerous player in the latter stage of the game . i just read a comment on another thread by a chelsea fan saying how dangerous he looked.

as i said, raw, and final ball needs work, but definitely should be playing more than he is, and he gives us something we don't have in the attacking mid position. pure pace, directness, and willing to take on a man (skill to match)

not sure where you are coming from to suggest that he offered very little tbh, suggests you weren't watching the game

You suggest I wasn't watching the game because I don't agree with you?

He passed the ball backwards more often than not (7) and misplaced most of his passes forwards (4 out of 5). Yes he showed a bit of skill on one occasion to beat his man but on the whole his display was nothing to get excited about.

As it happened I watched the entire game mate

what i am saying is not a question of opinion though. its just a fact that when he came on, we looked a lot more dangerous on the left than we did previously in the whole half.

you seem to disagree though, which is why i am asking if you watched the game

Not much end product by the look of it. Think I'd still have Son in there...just! Not that Son's form has been great. Weird how his form seemed to evaporate after being on fire for a month to what we're seeing now. Maybe it was the opposition he was playing?

Chelsea sat off us, we didn't look anymore like scoring in the last 20 mins of the game than we did in the 25 mins that preceded it. Tame second half all round

As soon as NKD got the ball there was 2 or 3 Chelsea players on him, they knew he had pace and shut him down quickly.

He looks better than N'Jie looked when he played for us.

We needed 2 players on him because everyone knew he'd walk past Ivanovic who is way past it.
