Huth, not sure why you are laughing. Leicester are going down you muppetWin the league then next season in a relegation battle
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair at least we won the league.
But yeah, us taking the pisss out of Spurs is a bit like Susan Boyle laughing at someone for being ugly
Both clubs are underachieving and a shadow of what they were last season. We just have less quality to deal with it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
hey blakstarr hows it going mate? i see this doughnut arro is back in his new outfit. facking mug.
whats going on with lesta then? pissssssing on the champs and heading for a long relegation scrap in the prem? has ranieri got the balance all wrong?

Club have let him down with a pissss poor transfer window and we lost the one player we couldn't afford to. It was always a team that relied on confidence and now that teams can deal with Mahrez and stop Drinkwater we really have no plan B
Sadly Ranieri just isn't the man for what's needed now which is a sleeves up relegation scrap. We are paying the price for a shocking summer window in which we failed to get many of our targets, plus Mendy has been injured for the entire season who could have made a difference.

Pearson back?
Hmmm.......Pearson would be better for this type of situation but he's limited. He would get the team playing with desire and spirit though, something Ranieri just can't do this season.

Even with Kante I still believe they'd be struggling in the league. Maybe not quite as much, but not near the top 4. The depth in quality isn't there for them to compete domestically and in Europe, but for the time being it's as much a mental thing, as shown by the form in one compared to the other.

Think it just goes to show that last season wasn't all about Vardy or maybe Mahrez but more about Kante. He was your true talisman it seems.

He's right tho
In fairness, Leicester over-performed by a fair margin compared to their underlying statistics (expected goals, etc) last season (just as they underperformed relative to underlying statistics in the relegation-threatened season that preceded it) so a degree of regression was to be expected. Add a Champions League campaign to that and its not that surprising that they are struggling a bit this time around.
Interesting to see you describe their summer business as poor though. I thought they spent a good chunk of money and did a solid job of getting players with similar attributes to those already at the club to bulk out the squad.

See the article below, Poch has given his reasons for Sissoko missing the Chelsea game...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38128008
wow, those Poch quotes are worrying. Pochettino sending out a message that Sissoko is not pulling his socks up.
As if this came as a shock, why we signed a player with attitude problems when we alienated Bentaleb and Townsend for the same thing I will never know.
I Still don't think this was a poch signing. I think Poch wanted Isco or someone of that calibur then when spurs couldn't provide that, Sissoko was rushed onto him at the last minute and Pochettino probably felt having someone with experience is better than nothing. This is nothing to do with me not being a Levy fan but it smells fishy to me. Why did we leave it until the last second of the window?
This seems a very baseless claim, Don.
You have any evidence to back this up? Previous Poch recommended signings include Osvaldo, so he is no stranger to facking a decision up.

To add to that, I believe Poch spoke to Hugo about Sissoko's attitude before we signed him, can't remember where, but I read it just before we signed him. Obviously Hugo was with him at the Euro's.

Don for all we know, Sissoko was scouted before hand but Levy waited till the last day to see if we could get him cheaper, obviously paying the money we did, this didn't work. But its all speculation, none of us know the truth.
I agree with Don, sadly. Any last day signing smacks of Levy given his record for it, and no manager would willingly choose to have a signing as late into a transfer window as 2 weeks into the season starting. They'd want them brought in early so they can bed them into the squad and impose their philosophy onto them.
Maybe it wasn't Levy going against Poch's wishes but more a case of Levy having left Poch short late on and offering up this dud as a last resort to which Poch agreed because the alternative is nothing, as Don says.
It seems so odd to me that we've splashed £30m on Sissoko just like that, when a player Poch genuinely wanted in Berahino, we felt disinclined to, instead offering hundreds of add ons, or whatever it was.

No we don't know the truth, although from what other managers have said it would suggest Levy has an influence. Maybe more than he should.
At the same time the quotes from Poch make him look pretty naive to expect so much of Sissoko. Did he not keep an eye on him at all last season?
It's all one big mess, which is a shame because I thought we were sorting our scouting out.
Sissoko had previous at Newcastle, surely not an Ade mark two.?
Sissoko was signed by us as we often do using our transfer committee to watch the manager is not always a part of . Poch didn't sign him that's not to say he didn't recommend him he could of done.
we have long scouted sissoko before poch he has always been an option.
Weirdly though he is criticising sissoko yet has yet to play him in his natural position. You can't say he is not performing if your playing him in a position he is not familiar with.
Sissoko will come good he is a top class midfielder when he wants to be.
