Don't take this the wrong way, but would Celtic have the money for this kind of transfer.

I would expect PL clubs to cover what we paid for him, could Celtic spend £10m on a player they don't appear to need?

Interesting. If he is out on loan I would guess wages would be a killer as he is on between 50-60k a week.

Our chief exec is the best in the business, we wont be paying full whack, we've also got a pile of CL cash.

Then our owners won't be giving away a player without a decent fee for his services
