Judging home fans vs away fans is never a fair battle.

I have been to Anfield and it's been pretty quiet.

I have been to Elland Road and it's been pretty quiet.

I have been to a game with away Leeds fans who have been noisy.

I have been to a game with away Liverpool fans who have been noisy.

Away fans are always better for volume, so no point comparing them against home fans, especially home fans against a lower division team watching a team of largely reserves in the least important competition of the season.

Exactly this. Every club has a problem with the prawn sandwich brigade and tourists at home and it'll only get worse if ticket prices continue to rise.

I can barely afford to go nowadays plus struggle to get two seats together.

Waheyy

In reality though, that's been the biggest threat to atmosphere.

I'd love to go the match with the lads but its just not possible.

Most people I know go on their own or if they are in groups, sit seperately

My main thing is to be able to take my son as he enjoys it more than me. When I was his age I used to go with my mates and stand on The Kop, that's not possible for kids now. What frustrated me about last nights match was how many of the corporate seats were empty. Why not give them to a local school or something?

Knotty

Agree, it's a nightmare trying to take my lad, I've got my ST but if I want to take him I have to buy two tickets so we can sit together.
