OP... I predict you will soon have a mental breakdown

OP is clearly Alan Hansen with his weird vendetta against youth players.

Memphis - Very telling you neglected to answer. Probably don't know how to answer.

I don't think it's as simple as merely putting them in order.

In the successful teams that I can remember (SAF era) we had a combination of all three.

What I would say is that as a United fan I do expect to see at least two of them.

What I would say is that if we were playing exciting football success would come as a product of that and when a team is successful it is slightly easier to integrate younger players as you have a bit more leeway to lose a game or two.

The thing is, it's about balance. What we don't like is the idea of being completely without any one of those things. It's impossible to rank them, I think, though I guess trophies would come first. Our 2008 CL winners were largely signings, many of them expensive, with a couple left over from the 99 team. That didn't really bother anyone too much (some of the football was quite good too, but not up there with a few other seasons we've had).

United fans generally want the manager to be concerned about all three. I actually don't think Mourinho is doing terribly in terms of football or youngsters; not great, but not terrible. It's the thing we thought he was best at that is letting us down right now.

Fair comment.

I think Jose has shown he's willing to give the younger players a chance and that he'll keep them in the side if they perform. In fact I'd go as far as saying that in some cases (Rashford for example) he may have kept them in the team too long. You could say that he's not playing his preferred position of course but go back nine months and he'd have given his right arm I'm sure to get regular games.

From what I get from Jose I think Shaw, Rashford, Lingard and Martial are players he'd very much consider as first teamers and I think he'll also be using TFM as well this season. That isn't bad to be fair. I know it's not Ferguson like but to be fair Jose doesn't have a Class of 92 situation here either.

Excitng football doesn't necessarily equal success

And yes, obviously we'd have all 3, but if you could only have 2, what would it be?

1)entertaining-i watch football to be entertained first and foremost not to brag about title

I passionately dislike jose cause I see him as the antithesis of everything I like about football - but the brand of football he has playe so far utd is a lot more pleasing than it has been for 3 years so i cannot knock him.

I respect him enough to believe he will eventually get it right but it might be too late to rescue this season by the time he does so.

"my onlyconcern is while jose is maybe trying to do the right thing, klopp/conte/maurio/pep are simply better managers

It's still a difficult question to answer though if I'm being honest.

If pushed I'd go for entertaining and winning football. The youth is important though but we can't just play youth for the sake of it as they have to be good enough. If they are not then there is some work to be done somewhere along the line.

This is like asking someone whether in a woman they want

Ass
Tits
Face

In reality you need all three

I'd like exciting football that puts us in with a chance of winning major trophies. I think that's the most we can ask for. I don't expect to win titles every year, just challenge

What's even more telling is that the OP does not give his opinion.

posted on 30/11/16

I'm. It after my opinion 52, I'm after the opinion of others. I'm not surprised you haven't got the bottle to give an answer beyond you want all 3.

I haven't given any answer.i don't find it takes bottle to give my opinion on an anonymous Internet forum. But I am surprised the OP won't honour us with his opinion.
But for what it's worth my opinion is that it is a stupid question.

Why?

We used to have all 3

We had all 3 last season when winning the FA cup

Mud,we used to have the best manager of all time.

Blabla, we had a very very favourable set of fixtures in the FA Cup.

Big dhout out to 52 the voyeur who is afraid to get it wrong I'm front of his pals.

52, it isn't a stupid question, hence you inability to answer it. My guess is you you want exciting football and success but can't forge youth players given the recent pandering for it on here

I thought according to some Jose was the second coming of Jesus?

We had a favourable fixture list for the FA cup

Why didn't our other rivals get to the final then?

Let us put the FA cup fixtures aside, what happened last season when we played the "big teams" in the league?

Blabs, so u less you can talk SAF back into the job, which 2 of the 3 would you prefer?

And are you going to answer my question regarding which 2 of the 3 you would prefer if you had to chose?
