I'd gladly take losing to CSKA in view of the bigger picture. The Europa league would do us no good whatsoever in terms of trying to qualify for the CL. If we don't make it then I'll consider the season as a failure.

The first few months of the season have been a huge disappointment yet we are 5th, not too far behind the leaders. I hope the players are as disgusted by our CL campaign as we are and channel that annoyance into a strong run of results over xmas and the new year.

If we fall into the Europa League then I really want us to go for it. Play full strength I say

Not for me. There is nothing in our recent history to suggest that we can go far in that competition whilst remaining competitive in the Premier League AND going for the most likely of three trophies, the FA Cup.

At least focusing on the BPL and a top four gets us in the CL for another chance and does a great deal in convincing players both new and old to stay here.

Give up on Europe so you can focus on getting back into Europe next season, it's a tried and tested formula.

I normally wouldn't want us to lose but if we do exactly that against CSKA then I'm happy for it

--------------

we will standardly put in a great performance, win, go into the Europa and derail our domestic campaign in the process.

this is spurs.... we consistently fack things up

If we played Europa league at WHL I would be happy. It would be good for the likes of Wimmer, Sissoko, Janssen etc to play. However, it would be embarrassing to have 20k at Wembley, really hope we don't do it there.

Hasn't poch confirmed we'd be staying at Wembley as we need to get used to it for next season?

I really hope our stadium is completed on time. I can't do with us playing at Wembley beyond 2017/18. We don't have the fan base to just turn up and make it "home" especially with the more neutrals that end up going.

playing at Wembley next year will be a disaster. genuinely think we will have an awful home record, and could easily end up around 8th because of it

Should've played in MK. A nice modern but close to the pitch 30k stadium that happens to be 10 mins from my house

So wot's supposed to be the problem with playing at Wubberly?
Pitch too big for us?
If we'de won that first game against Monaco, which we should have, things would be totally different.
However, as they are now, Pochettino will play a "trial" eleven against CSKA and we'll lose that one too.
Then we step down to the lower level competition. Is it worth giving all we've got at Wembley?
Or will Poch throw that too?
