You would indeed mate so all the best
Without wishing to get too personal, can I ask what's up with your granddaughter curly?
I grew up with my wee bro in and out of hospital, flown down to Yorkhill on a few occasions where it was nip and tuck so I know what it's like to live with it, the pressures it can put on a family. It does pull everyone together though and makes you stronger (without sounding like a soppy basturd).
Whatever it is, I hope she pulls through and makes s speedy recovery. My bro is now a typical 20 year old cheeky sh!te, always tapping me up for money and pushing his luck. Always hope for the best mate
Curly hope the wee one comes through and on on great

All the best to her Curly. Can't imagine what it must be like for the family-I did have my son go under anaesthetic before he was a year old for a minor op and that was worrying enough-so, for something a bit bigger like your granddaughter I don't even want to think about it.
Hope it goes as well as you hope.

Not a religious man by any stretch of the imagination curly, for reasons such as this. I cant grasp how something as innocent can be allowed to endure such a condition by "just" god.
Thoughts are with you, and of course your grandaughter.
I'm sure she'll be fine, if shes anything like u then she'll be grand.
If she's anything like Curly, she'll eat the doctor's notes...
Curly, youngsters sail by this, I know from experience, not you will ever not worry, but she will be fine, mate.
Not that I wouldn't worry myself of course.
God love her. Hope she's on the mend Curly, she's in my prayers
Curly
My wee cousin had the same thing when she was born, like a big purple growth coming from her forehead it was quite scary at the time thinking back. She had to have quite a few op's through the years but not once did it bother her she just took it in her stride, like ath says kids stroll through it.She is now a 9 year old happy little girl with a tiny little scar.Wish you and your grand daughter well mate.

Curly thoughts and prayers for the wean from Co.Tyrone
Curly - you know the support you and your wee darling have from all the guys on here - hope all goes well
Just read this and I'm fairly certain that this may well be one of those rarest of moments that I will have some semblance of sobriety today so here goes.
Curly. Your grand daughter will be absolutely fine. Nothing surer than that. Despite the amount we malign our care and health services they are up there with the best in the world and knowing a few surgeons myself they see things like this as more of a challenge and one they particularly like to beat, and beat well. The care staff around her is second to none and very understanding not only for her but also for her family. She's in good hands. The best I'd say.
I do however fear for her longer term future in having you as a grandfather and supposed role model. That's what should worry her mum and dad more than anything.
All will be well mate and as ever you have my very best of wishes and affection x
