Could be erm interesting

I really think this will happen and I really think Mr Alonso will get his bum smacked. As much as I admire him, I think Mr Hamilton has went to another level when he's on his game.

WHEN HE'S ON HIS GAME.............

He shouldn't have to say it. McLaren will get there.
Point is, can Fernando wait until then??????

Given his ability, I wouldn't.

He has one more year with them?
First year of the new regs they need to hit the ground running

@Tino He'll be at Mercedes next year. FACT.

I hope he goesI'd love him to get a 3rd title

Alonso likes number 1 status so that will not happen.

Fernando is past it. Hamilton will destroy him

You need a hungry talented team mate to push Hamilton, either Max or Danny

That would make Mercedes the best supported team in the world

Even Stacy Moaner accused Mercedes of favouritism for Rosberg this season

Guess he's another member of the tin foil hat brigade

Alonso would be too scared to go up against Hamilton

Verstappen or Ricciardo would be perfect

With Paddy Lowe going to Williams (James Allison to Mercedes), one would imagine that is a sweetener for Bottas to replace Rosberg.

Lowe can help Williams with knowledge from Mercedes, but obviously not enough to challenge them consistently.
Bottas is just quick enough to keep Hamilton on his toes and won't kick up a fuss (like Alonso would).
This is a suitable deal for all parties.

Would have gone with Hulkenburg personally but potential Bottas move understandable.

If Bottas does get seat at Mercedes, who replaces him at Williams?

Di Resta? Nasr? Lynn?

posted on 11/12/16

Sutil outsider??? (Bearing In mind was Williams reserve driver recently and fairly reliable).

posted on 11/12/16

Di Resta at Williams makes the most sense to lead/front British team, with all his experience at driving, media, circuits and still at a relatively good age. In and around Williams already, so shouldn't take long to adapt.

However If Nasr has financial backing, might help his case...
Then again would Williams need that along with Strolls' money?? No they don't, one money backing driver should suffice.

Looks like it's Bottas they want, as some on here predicted (not me!)

Seems a bit weird that you can be a team manager and a driver manager. Conflict of interest?
