I've seen this also.

A similar thing happened when a man in my town was selling puddings from his shop. He specialised in liver and called his shop 'Liverpuds'. Liverpool tried to force him to change the name but he refused. So Liverpool organised it for the man's shop to burn to the ground

It's all a bit titfor-tat

My lady friend called Chelsea opened a bakery and called it 'Chelsea's Buns'. Last I heard, she is doing pretty well

not sure why this is on the spurs board to be honest

"It is pathetic from Arsenal FC (My opinion)"

Well, clearly your opinion isn't up to speed with the modern world of branding and image. I think it's all a little sad, but hardly 'pathetic' - if you accept clubs have to make money, then you have to accept they need to protect they're 'brand'.

Their "brand"?

Erm.....will the Royal Arsenal be suing them for breaching their brand?

Sorry, are you saying there isn't a brand to protect? Why do you think we've got that bleeding awful badge these days.

Maybe you're just trying to be funny - but it's a serious point I'm making, and explains why the club are being to 'pathetic'.

Why wasn't this mentioned on the Spurs board earlier?

"Why is this on the Spurs board?"

Because some gormless Liverpool 'fan' thought it might start a fight I guess.

Eowyn.....

Perhaps a link or some sort of evidence, or have you made it up?
Anyway this thread was about the Arsenal fans opinions on the matter.

Andrei Sergeyevich Arshavin - I was once Super_Keith_Andrews' impostor! (U4416)

Why dont you read the 2nd line? or if you have read it perhaps an opinion rather than a question will be better.

How do you post a link to prove an article wasn't there earlier? Maybe a link to the Spurs board and you can look through it yourself.

So why is it on the Spurs board?

posted on 8/9/11

The reason I posted it on the spurs board is to create debate not a fight.

I am sure rival fans would like to know of things like this.
After all it is in the public domain.
