Good stats. Some of the best out there
He doesn't lack confidence which is a good thing for a keeper at a big club.
Whether he can back that up with performances remains to be seen, but I think he's been over criticised personally.
He had started to settle nicely before Bournemouth. Of course making a result changing error is a step backwards, but there are no keepers who don't make mistakes.
Let's see how he responds.
For anyone who is going to comment that carragher said worse
Carragher was here at Liverpool for a long time so maybe after the game he was a bit frustrated,’ said Karius. ‘He is probably still a supporter. I have to accept it.'

Very clever from Karius.
De Gea mistake vs Wham last week? it happens to the best he needs to improve on his command and kicking and is young for a keeper, but i don't expect any improvement with Atchenburg as his coach thats what i can say infact i expect him to get worse.
I'm sorry, I just don't understand people who say karius needs to work on his distribution?
People seem to have been waiting to pounce on him for a single mistake.
Largely the same with Lovren. Play boss for 10 months, get one thing wrong and you're back to being a donkey.
Maybe we were just spoilt with reina hyypia and carat her.
set himself up a bit with that swipe at Neville.

Absolutely nothing he side wasn't true though...
Lovren is not 'Boss'
He needs someone to guide him and when the pressure is on he falls to pieces
I'd take Van Dijk over him every day of the week

100% agree
Neville is spot on and is an excellent pundit
Karius is a confident young keeper but for me he should be benched and Migs put back in
Karius hasn't been very good so far and i was critical after just a handful of games on here. Even his clean sheets have been when we've totally dominated the games or the opposition have come to put 11 behind the ball. Saying that though anyone who's made thier mind up already on a young goalkeeper who's played just a handful of games for a massive new club in a new country is a damn fool if you ask me
The way Neville and Carra have gone after him is fooking mental. I've never seen them be so critical on a young foreign player so soon after he makes his debut. It's like Nevilles made his mind up which is just silly and Carra just backs him up just in case he's accused of bias
Karius has looked dodgy but to write him off as 'not good enough' by these professional pundits is bang out of order and i hope he proves them wrong and makes them eat their words
I do rate Neville for his punditry but he's got an agenda here. Not really a fan of carra the pundit
Anyone remember Reina when he first joinsd and the mistakes he used to make? Everton even brought out a DVD about it.
He used to get pelters for his punching when he came for crosses but he improved vastly given a bit of time.
It's way too soon to write off Karius.
The pundits write off many a keeper very quickly.
Look at the stick Bravo has got.
This is a keeper who has won everything. Carra and Neville are both 'show us your medals' type pundits, but here's a keeper who has all the medals and they were slaughtering him before he even played a game for City.
I think keeper punditry in this country is very poor.
What do outfield players even know about keeping? They haven't done their A licences in keeper coaching.
It's a specialist position and a lot of the time I just don't think they have a clue what they are talking about.
Klopp's comments on that Bournemouth striker calling Karius a weak spot isn't half over reacting

exactly, what do they know about goal keeping, it makes me laugh as though Neville and Carra never made mistakes.
If pundits didn't criticize mistakes they would be out of a job.
There's nothing wrong with being critical.
Nobody is saying it wasn't a mistake.
There's a difference between saying he's made a mistake and should do better there to basically writing him off as a professional footballer.

sky did a statement on his distribution it is only 40 percent accurate pass I think he is 17th in the keeper stats for passing my that is awful for someone whom we thought was meant to have good distribution
That 40% stat is rubbish.
His pass completion is 67%, which is decent.

I am only quoting what sky showed on their stats on Monday night football what makes you think their stats are in accurate compared to the stats you seen?
Because the only keepers who are near 40% play for long ball teams like Palace and Watford.
No way Karius is at 40%.
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/107176/Show/Loris-Karius
That's WhosOff who gave him at 63.5%.
Squawka have him at 67%.
Both far more believable than 40%.
