Just because Velly is 6'6" that doesn't a target man make him. Like Malcolm McDonald he needs the ball in front of him, preferably in the 6 yard box.
Could work with Pereirra on the wing and Benny just behind him.
They need to keep their heads up and the crowd needs to back them and not boo the first misplaced pass...........
Still better than Bendtner in the role though Bear. At least he battles for it.

Bit harsh on Mills, I actually thought he was one of our better players against the sheep, though to be fair he didn't have much to beat. Kasami is proving to be on e of the worst signings for a long time, and that really is an achievement when you consider our recent record.😂
He was alright, but he always blames anyone but himself. Him and DDV were constantly at it last season. As long as Worrall is back in I'd trade any of them.
Really do not understand Kasami. Missing Greece or a chance to play in England? I think he enjoys his perks more than the football!!
Kasami reminds me of the loan last season, Kyle E. Just seems off the pace, unable to find his team mates most of the time and his shooting
I can only think we've made a promise to his parent club that he'll play a lot of the time. He can't be being picked on merit surely?
A concerning rumour is doing the rounds that due to the nature of the Velios signing he may be off to Olympiacos in January. Hope that doesn't have legs as Britt seems to be picking up injuries in his recovery (not unknown in these scenarios) and as for Bendtner, he to me, doesn't look like he's exactly putting the effort in.

Players have got to be made to realise that when the manager says a certain level of performance is not acceptable he means it. Drop them. Missing out on appearance money and a possible win bonus might make them show a bit of effort if they get another chance.
Your team is probably close to the one I would like to see. I would also think about dropping Stojkovic, Lam. We are well off for CBs. Mills Hobbs and Fox would also form a reasonable trio.
Lam needs to realise that it might be ok to jog around in Dutch football, and occasionally he can get by here doing that, but doing it game after game is not good enough. You need a presence in midfield as well as commitment before you can make your ability count. My central midfielders would be Cash Vaughan Osbourn. My two wide players would be Lichaj and Traore assuming Wednesday is his one game in four when he decides to grace us with his presence. Vellios and Pereira up front. Grant, Hobbs and Brereton to be the subs used.
Get Iacovitti back from Mansfield (if possible) and put the Moose through an intensive fitness programme, we'll need him over the Christmas period

Got over it yet guys or is it too soon?
Lansbury is out for a "few weeks" according to the press conference down at the C.G. B.A won't be playing either, so the team just about picks itself.
We need this takeover completing this week and a midfielder and a new striker coming in for January. Otherwise we could become Collins 'Cardiff Get Out Of Jail Free' card.
Lansbury was injured before he started smacking the ball into the net in the warm up. Job done, Christmas off. He'll be a fat boy when he comes back needing a month to get fit.
Hard times ahead.

Yep several weeks it seems for HL. Doesn't help him in his quest for a new contract, if he really wants one?...

Mancienne once again proved on Saturday, that he is not a centre half - where oh where is Jack Hobbs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Forest deny it but rumours abound that more appearances mean a further payment to Hull under the terms of the transfer. Sound a bit far fetched as he has been on the bench recently.
Hobbs, Worrall and even Fox are better options at centre half than those who played on Sunday. Mancienne seems to flatter to deceive too often and gets dominated too easily. Mills seems too wound up when playing. Perquis has his moments so is probably the best in the formation Monty is choosing at the moment.
That's a good call on Ebicilio and Kasami. Neither have the wherewithal to cope with the competitiveness of this league. Kasami has the most powderpuff shot I think I've seen.
I suspect we may see Brereton on the bench for PNE. He is banging them in for the academy. If you're good enough...
Manciene was the player making the most clearances and blocks in that game, if I was highlighting a liability back there it certainly wouldn't be him, but Mills on the other hand
I'd swap any of them for Worrall as he has his head screwed on and has some pride in the shirt. Should've played v Derby.
He was desperate to play in that game too. Another Monty mystery along with the Carayol one. I know they won the previous game v Newcastle but they weren't as assured as they had been with Worrall in there.
If Vellios is going to Olympiakos next month Forest may as well get as much use out of him as they can.
