Its the right thing to do for the team and Karius himself imo.

Agree think a few games with the U23s would do him some good

Sad when a mug like Gary Neville can pile so much pressure on and spew so much $hit about a young keeper that results in his career progress being stunted. Nearly did the same with Luiz. Dunno why you'd listen to the opinion of a mug who got valencia relegated & who did fk all as england manager and assisted in us losing to iceland
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will assume that he has dropped Karius to take him out of the firing line.
Hope Mignolet plays a blinder and keeps his place.
Neville brothers have obviously got to him
I welcome this decision if true. I thought Klopp showed faith in Karius by playing him in the W Ham game but unfortunately Karius wasn't able to repay that faith so surely it's only common sense that Mignolet is reinstated in goal. Most of us will agree that Mignolet wasn't playing badly before being stepped down so he deserves a chance again - of course he'll need to have a good game himself tonight to prove that he should stay in goal.
Whatever the chuckle brothers have said should have no bearing on what goes on at LFC and based on who they used to play for, it should carry even less weight. Karius' career is by no means over, he needs to continue to work hard in training and the next time he gets an opportunity in goal which he'll probably get, he needs to grab it with both hands <pun>.
A game too late. Mignolet was unfairly dropped as he was playing well. However the right decision has now been made, it's now up to Mignolet to stay in. It's obvious Klopp prefers Karius so it's up to Mignolet to change his mind. Long run you'd have to believe Karius will seal his place but Mignolet hopefully will do well in the short term.
Hahahahaha
After all that ranting, he's decided Nev was right all along
Neville will be smug I'm sure
Neither keeper is good enough sadly. Karius might improve but with Mig what we have seen is what we will get.

Maybe Klopp took the advice of Jamie Carragher and not Gary Neville?
