Lol Wolfgang!!!

Welcome to the OCD club! Obsessively crap disorder!!

I'm thinking more along the lines of a 5-5 thriller judging by the recent results of both!

What's been going on at Wolves? Thought there had been some decent amounts of dosh being invested last summer?

Decent amount of cash spent but on decent players? Not so much!
It seems we got half the Benfica squad (the half that couldn't make their first team) and some other misfits that only seem to play together as a team for about 15-20 minutes every 2-3 weeks.
If we could just sort out the three glaring problems with the squad we would be unbeatable.
The three problems?:
The defence
The midfield
The forwards

Pretty knackered on the GK front as well.

apart from that though everything is fine.

basically a poor squad who stayed up by a record number of 0-0 draws last season, then we bought or loaned 10 foreigners only one of whom, costa, can hold down a regular place

rumours our end that we're in for assombalonga in the january window - whats that about, thought he was a big success for you ?

Good to have a match thread with the opposing team fans taking part, our match day threads are boring......

Well this is the Forest thread Perts, would be a bit strange if they weren't taking part. Halfy will be along in the morning to set us up the usual bitchfest.

Cant really see beyond a Forest win here though, if Costa doesnt start, we're doomed. Our poor lads, with their state of the art training facilities, fitness programmes & diet plans are really struggling to play two games a week. Lets hope the tired little darlings have had a good rest now and are refreshed and ready to go tomorrow. We might just give 'em a game in that case.

I know it is odie, it just makes a refreshing change.

Cant see us picking up anything tomorrow especially with our midfield. Saying that we will win now.

We did spend some cash, bit it is written that no matter how many we sign we have to start at least two of Coady, saville and Edwards and if you are real lucky we may start all three.

As Derby fans know, spending tens of millions guarantees absolutely nothing if a succession of managers cannot utilise the players bought.

For simplicity we just blame Dave Edwards.

gem, we're always gonna struggle with non scoring strikers, feckin inept midfield, shat defence and third string keeper and changing coach every couple of months and the best of our Benfica boys crocked by a dirty Bluebird. can we expect better? Too feckin right we can, starting the morrow, yeah right I hear you all say but it's gotta be COME ON ME BABBIES whatever happens.

I admire your optimism Ohso but I fear we are in for more disappointment tomorrow.

The bottom line is that it depends on which Wolves team turn up. If it is the team that played on Tuesday we will lose. If it is the team that played the second half against Fulham we will slaughter the florists.
The enigma is that both teams contain the same players

Britt and Lansbury still out.

Bendtner is doubtful.

Fox, Lam and Traore to miss out.

Didn't see Pinillos get a mention so he might figure.

Team updated above.

Bendtner is doubtful. Feck it.

I am liking all of that apart from the possibility of Bendtner being out.

He's got more chance of scoring one for us than our own bloody strikers.

Don't listen to Wolfgang, he is just blinded by our fantastic form the last year whilst the above three have dominated midfield selections.

In a nut shell our team has 1 or 2 decent players and the rest is a bit rag tag due to injuries and replacements who either can't be bothered or are a bit lacking of ability.

Weren't you lot taken over in the summer? Are they not having their best first season?

Someone asked about Britt further up....

He seems to be struggling with injuries since his year a bit out with a dislocated knee cap and related ligament damages. The injuries are unrelated to his knee so may be things he's getting as he tries to get back close to 100%. When he has played though he has been netting fairly regularly.

Considering that Bendtner appears to not be bothered and Vellios may be heading off in January relating to his unconventional signing; I'd rather us not cash in on Britt even with his injury issues
