It's almost like we're back in good old days when you went knowing that we'd be second best but hoping for a miracle. I'd agree with your line up. Also think the passing it around at the back is out at least till Fernanddihno is back.
Agree on the passing. Fernando and yaya is a midi field of nightmares for Pep. Can you imagine him ever having such central midfielders starting at Barca or Bayern?
Fortunately I'm not sure xhaka and coquelin have too much going for them so might just about cancel each other out there
It seems like a lifetime away when we went 37 (?) home games unbeaten under Mancini and I have no confidence whatsoever about todays game.
Good line-up but I expect him to start with Navas because of Arsenals' pace on the flanks.
Iheanacho has to start this one, no messing about without an out and out striker.
It's a worry that our two best midfielders are missing so Yaya is going to have to roll back the years for this one, whatever we think about him on his day he can still be phenomenal.
Zab seems to have had a new lease of life and I'm confident with him, less so on the other side. The thought of Sanchez against Clichy/Kolarov is giving me the cold sweats.
Bravo
Zabaleta
Otamendi
Stones
Clichy
Fernando
Toure
De Bruyne
Sterling
Silva
Nolito
I'd go for that. Going to miss the game as watching my daughter in a Christmas concert. Not got a great feeling about it (the game, not the concert!)
Not 3 at the back please. Sanchez gives me nightmares. Yaya more than capable of making Ozil disappear if he puts some work in. Half the team unavailable means a draw would be a good result but Chelsea are pulling away.
I don't think the title is going to happen this year, it's more making sure we keep a gap between us and fifth.
Chelsea are comfortably better than us from front to back - despite us having them up to that kdb miss, they'll feck up far less often than us against the lower table sides.
Would be happy to see your side Ali, not particularly confident either today, only plus is they've wobbled lately as well. Hoping to sly off from work for a hour to catch one of the halves... First or second is the question...
I think you'll be surprised how easily you'll dominate this game. Arsenal were appalling at Old Trafford.
Reckon Man City to hammer Arsenal 3-0 and Cech MOTM.
well done hafi that's the kiss of death on city Arsenal will win now 1-3
What is going on at the empty? All the players coming out with 'Gundogan' on the front of the shirts... what a strange thing to do. For every injury someone gets at that club you are going to wear a daft shirt to show support.
The comedy store should take a few tips,Gundogan has not got any life threatening diagnoses and if he doesn't know his team support him then you have a problem, though at least it's not as bad as a Suarez t shirt supporting racism. Little team mentality.

It is a joke, even though you are now winning it is an embarrassment. Could see why you struggled 1st half due to the empty seats left wing,2nd half much better.
Will they be wearing Zabaleta shirts next week?
Snowballs for crimbo little club.
Let's get it right bean. You have fought well in the second half and deserve your win but,if you think wearing shirts with players names on counts for anything after a weekend previous where real emotion happened you need to get a grip on life and reality. Total embarrassment if United don't finish above you and win more than you.
Sorry,should have added as usual.
Feck me mate you're like a less eloquent more rambly Frank Gallagher today, have you been on Yayas special cola?!
hafi but I bet you didn't predict the 3-1 home win v Barcelona.
Bertrand stay small !!!! City showing support for a player who has had more than his fair share of bad injuries, It doesn't matter the degree of injury . Or would you rather a jose esque type scenario where he is criticizing players for feigning injury only to find out they are injured. Builds a good sense of team spirit that does!!!!!!
Don't entertain the old pizz can. Just sub him a fiver for a few kestrel if you pass him in the street.
