Luiz has grown out of that tendency and think he'd be fine in a 2.
I've literally not changed much at all since season 1 so I don't understand where this is coming from.

Think the league as a whole has plateaued to be honest. Hard to do a deal now.

I think that's the nature of these leagues, people get in sides with really good players, and in the end even really good players aren't good enough.
not pushing for tactics but that could be a decider - at the min it is literally the strongest XI wins (in that persons mind)
It is the nature of the beast unfortunately, whilst the draft was a fun idea it was ultimately an easy way for a lot of people to bring in a world class player to complete their side without needing to negotiate a deal.
The introduction of a cup or increasing the frequency of injuries may stir things up a little? With most sides pretty settled and there being no real need to sell there appear to be very few deals being done of late.
I said at the time I thought the draft was the mistake, but it's done now.
Would personally just suggest seeing this out till rod then reboot
And whilst I've never been a fan of trebs reboot idea, with a lot of people already participating in established leagues it might not be a bad idea to mix it up every season or two with different parameters/budgets being put in place.
Keeps people on their toes and in fairness the initial start up and team building aspect is always the most fun!
Is looking as if you may have been right Trebs.
I don't like the idea of changing rules mid-season. Personally I'd see this out then perhaps change injuries a bit (I'd suggest 3 injuries all lasting three weeks)
I'd be looking at a potential reboot again. I consider myself one of the weaker sides in the league and as much as I could do deals, I think much smaller and realistic budgets need to be set rather than £200m because it's too easy to build up a side.
Think it needs to be done where we have good reputation clubs with some decent players already, but have some small budgets to work with so we can only bring a certain calibre of player in. Obviously a lot would look for the older players with a smaller value, but there is only so many of them around really. For me, that's the way forward imo.
We did a Europa league ... League on v2 which worked well a while ago. Think starting budgets were £25-50m
I suppose we could use 2 "top half" teams from each of the big 4 divisions (England, Spain, Italy, Germany - maybe France if we get 10).
So we could potentially have sides like: Southampton, Everton, Valencia, Espanyol, Torino, Fiorentina, Werder Bremen, Frankfurt - potentially St Eitienne, Nantes. Just as an example.
Again, set budgets between £20-30m because I'd imagine all squads TM values will be fairly similar. Maybe change Everton to Stoke or something potentially as their's may be a fair bit higher than the rest.
Yeah - having said that, I think the right thing to do would be to wait 6 gameweek till the end of season before further discussion
I think we should do a championship league!
Looks like Conte could be off. As well as Donnarumma...
Thoughts on that?
Conte has previous, where he goes though would b interesting not sure of any vacancies that need filling.
Donna, cant just blame Mino that fat fck - the kids 18 apparently a life long long Milanista and offered 4m a year - surely he could over-rule Mino and say I'm staying
Guess his head must have been turned by Madrid. Only real explanation to be honest.
snidey ungrateful lil feck
Surprised about Donnarumma, less so about Conte if the rumours are indeed true.
Aubameyang to PSG is also now off so it'll be interesting to see where he ends up, extremely unlikely but I'd take him in a heartbeat at Liverpool.
I think Liverpool should certainly rush to try and get Aubameyang, silly move if they don't.
Donnarumma I don't blame if he moves, why would he not want to progress his career at get to the top at such an early age?
because
A) he's 18 still raw needs time to develop
B) he's already at the club he "loves"
C) loyalty - they gave him a shot and he's been rewarded handsomely
