Cue Liverpool fans banging on about Clyne.
Walks has been our best player this year and he was a beast last year as well.
Rose is probably the best LB in the league.
I've always thought Danny Rose was a tad underrated, been superb for your mob this season
And they were some of the very few who came away with any credit at the Euros.

didn't rose get a bit of stick from some spurs fans a few years back? i always liked the player, has he cut out some of the errors/become more consistent?
United have the best players...Fergie said so

That's right. He used to suffer from scapegoatism a couple of years ago.

I can't say for everyone but I wanted him out the club under Sherwood. His work ethic was pathetic and he had such an attitude. What a turn around.

Nobody can argue with how much the Spurs full backs have come on since Poch arrived. I don't think there is too much difference between Clyne and Walker at the moment but have no issue admitting that the Spurs full backs are the best in the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Typical bitter scous.......oh
Always liked Walker despite the brainfarts he used to get at least once a game.
Rose took a long time to develop, but it has to be said we really miss him when he's out. Turned into a fantastic LB

Yep I was the same. Poch has to take credit here for turning him around.
Maybe a little bias but I prefer Walker to Clyne greatteams. Not that there is too much in it, but I think Walkers athleticism makes him more of an asset.
Rose's volley versus Arsenal was pretty good
Danny Rose has to be my favorite Tottenham player over the last couple of seasons. He's got an honest style of playing and never shirks a challenge. Always seems to come away with the ball in 50/50's. Walker has been great as well. I never understand why there isn't a song for our right back? If we do have one, I never hear it in the south stand.

He wouldn't beat Jimmy Saville in a 50/50 though

Again, no issue with that. Clyne has some serious issues with ball watching and positioning with crosses coming in from the left at times. Still done a more than decent job for us and is underrated with his work in the final third. Gets his head up and delivers excellent crosses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed, I personally wouldn't swap Clyne for Walker however I'd say there's not much between the two.
Watching how Walker has developed his game still gives me hope that Moreno can turn things around. I remember in his early years Walker used to rely on his pace to make up for poor positioning and lapses in concentration. Hopefully if Moreno switches on he'll make a similar progression, although that's wishful thinking more than expectation

I was gonna write Jaap Stam, but then thought Jimmy Saville would be more weird.
Clyne has created more chances (27) than any other premiership defender this season
Clyne > The rest
Yeh that is one thing I would say Clyne has over Walker is his delivery. Kyle is scared to cross it early first time.

Haha. Glad you explained yourself. I thought I was missing something.
Danny Rose wins the award for Tottenhams most improved player. He didn't have the best of starts to his Spurs career and was looking like another Chris Gunter type of signing. I think he got on most of our tiits at the time if we're all honest, some of his performances were some of the worst I've seen at left back. Just shows you what a good attitude can do. He's been absolutely brilliant.
