Chelsea are being annoying but top 4 looks acquired
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Far from imo. Too many points to play for yet and both Utd and Spurs have looked better recently.
We're obviously looking good but top 4 is not a given.
Probably just about the fair result
Liverpool defended really well
Wijnaldum was brilliant. Fernandinho who?
Of course Utd and Spurs are looking better, Europa is on sabbatical.
I personally feel the chances of us not finishing top 4 after acquiring 43 pts in half a season must be about 10%. We probably only need 11 wins from 19 games, maybe even less.

2nd to 6th is 7 points. Feels too close to call it yet.
If it's still that gap when Europe starts again and Mane is back from ACN then I'll be much more confident.

I don't think 5th will get more than 78pts.
That would absolutely unprecented (usually not more than 70).
35 pts to go for us.
Not that I am targeting 4th.
We are one of the best two teams in the league IMO.
Beating Chelsea is unlikely, but let's see how they react to not winning a game (which will happen sooner or later).
We were the better team in the first half, City dominated the ball in the second but we will still looked the more dangerous team to score on the counter in that too.
Not a single clear cut chance in the game for either team, Gini's goal was a half chance and a brilliant header.
Definitely deserved the win though, we were the more aggressive team in the first half when it mattered and defended very well in the second.
We were under real pressure from 50-60 mins but saw it off and the last 15 was excellent game management from us, ran down the clock immensely well.
My MOTM was Klavan, remarkable performance up against Aguero having been booked in the 4th minute. Still no Anfield goal for Sergio, the boy just can't hack the emotion of scoring against his boyhood club's iconic stadium.

Doubt we'd even need that to be honest. 9 wins and 5 draws would have us on 75 points
dont think we can get relegated now...cool eh
