Great report 3R
Will speak later
Thanks 3R, excellent appraisal, as ever.
Probably not worth watching the full 90 of this one, then ?
You could watch, strictly for academic reasons.
I could update you on tomorrow's game, if you're not going, and with your blessing of course.
3R do you catch the train to the home games?
Ang, Yes please, you have my complete blessing.
and Griff, we go by car and there are sometimes 5 of us. And some of them are big. But sometimes we have room and I would be glad to let you know and you'd be welcome to travel with us. Are you a big lad?
Radio Derby reported yesterday that Wildschut is apparently on the list of possible targets.
As he's a winger, someone will have to go before we look to bring in another player for the flanks.
I always catch the train with my lad and go for a beer with my dad before the games,
He certainly attracted attention to his speed and height and I would see him up front more than on the flank.
Spoke to a Wigsn player last night, he said Bent and Vydra are easy to play against because they lack movement of the ball and have not physical presence to hold balls up and battle.
Well that's great for the Griff generations. Don't want to break that up.
Griff - it certainly seems like it, We have the midfield taped but there is never any movement up front to invite clever through balls. That is why we aren't getting enough goals.
You will have to come on an away day with us 3R. We went to Fulham started at Ambergate for the 7.50 train to Derby and got back home at about 10.45
Would love to but maybe on a shorter run. That's a long day for an old buffer like me.
I agree with most of your comments Ramdini, but I don't think Camara did very well. He made a couple of crosses but kept losing possession, I would like to see Anya on the left wing if Johnny is rested. I thought Vydra did well when he replaced the ineffectual Bent who went back to his old self yesterday.
What has Will been doing over Christmas, he had a poor match and I thought he got booked on purpose so he would only miss one league match. He'll be much better when the wardrobe returns soon.
I was thrilled when Bucko got such a good reception before and after the match which he thoroughly deserved. He seemed to stroll through the game a la Beckenbauer, but he played the right side centre half not left back even if he had number 3 on his back.
Happy New Year to you Ramdini and everyone else.
Isn't Will Hughes banned for two games?
Happy New year 3R..........Anya looks good going forward but he is definitely not a left back. Every ball eventually kicked by their goalie was aimed at our diminutive left back, at least BJ covered most of them. More worryingly was the ease in which Jacobs beat him twice to get good headers on goal from balls crossed from the right.
I like Anya, but don't see him as a defender.
Yes, 1 league and 1 FA Cup matches.
Thanks VC10. I am not the best formation spotter on these boards. I am always glad to be corrected.
On Hughes, it depends if you are a conspiracy theorist or a cock-up merchant. He probably didn't fancy the West Brom game if he wants to stay at Derby (i.e. not put himself in the shop window)
Well he certainly lacks a few inches.
That could be the last time we see Hughes in a Derby shirt, missing the WBA game means he's not cup tied

I'm afraid to say that I think Griff is spot on here. Time to cash in.
HNY to you too Heb. Hope your head is in good shape.
If we are to sell Hughes we need some ambitious recruiting plans to fill the gap and to push on from where we are. I personally doubt that we have the organisation for that.
