Beyond dismal from us, the only plus today being a flattering scoreline.
Well played lads
Giroud needs to work on his English, doesn't understand the definition of luck
Bloody hell how bitter is Souness saying Giroud goal was lucky. I bet if an English player i.e. Rooney did that then everyone would say how world class it is etc.

Yeah 2-0 flattered Palace could have been 4 really.

This was meant by Nani and I remember seeing it in real time and didn't know what he did and then saw replay and it was a crazy finish.

Giroud himself said it was lucky
That is when Souness changed his view. The luck comes from the skill though.
To score such a quality goal you need luck and to be brave to try it especially when your name is Olivier Giroud. Never gets the credit he deserves.

I love that
Giroud is just being modest. If someone takes a shot from 35 yards, sometimes there is an element of luck involved if it goes in. For me it's a class goal and a nomination for goal of the season. It was Rooney or Kane doing it the media would go on and on and on about it. There's no question about that!
TBH I've never seen such a waaaaankfest from a goal like I've seen from this one. Maybe Rooney's overhead shin vs City.
It was an incredibly lucky goal, nothing wrong with saying that. You still have to credit the quick thinking and improvisation from Giroud and the execution was ridiculously good, give him that ball in 1000 times and he won't repeat what he did.
