Think we'll be ok second half. Can't see Sunderland keeping this up.

Poor half from us, tired legs means the press isn't working effectively and Sunderland getting a lot of joy on the counter.

Another goal in this game but not confident it will be is that gets it.

Lets put this game beyond doubt second half.
Because given half a chance, the singularly worst referee in England might decide it for us.

you cant fly in 2 footed off the ground out of control like that these days even if he won the ball.

Best ive seen Sunderland play in best part of 3 years. If Defoe was sharp he could have had 3 or 4 alone. Migs done well as has their keeper.

We are the downfall of our own goals. That bad pass and miss control led to that throw on. Wijnaldum should of fouled him or not let him go past him. Defoe was never gonna miss. Look at all the scores everyone is struggling because of the suicidal turn around in game time. It's stupid. Sunderland's cup final this so they are well up for it. We need Lucas in midfield to get a hold of this game

We have looked better in second halfs recently, I'm not too worried at the moment

Sturridge playing well but dropping deep too often, not enough men in the box when we get there.

I thought we were fairly lively going forward. Not quite clicking but not a disaster.

We look very open on CM and into the back 4 though. Either Wij needs to help Can more or Can needs replacing because he can't do this on his own.

Will Klopp make 2nd half subs. Our midfield and defence looked bad in the 1st half. I doubt it but I think he needs to tell Can to move the ball forward faster if he doesn't then he could be replaced by Stewart or Lucas

Wij should've done better before the pen, he let his man get by him too easily. We're not playing that bad. They are hitting us through the middle on the counter, trying to play Defoe or Borini in.

Think we'll boss them second half as they'll tire.

Can seems to be facking up a lot being casual on the ball and always looks out of position to where he should be in that role, wonder why Lucas was overlooked.

very poor, numerous mistakes in a row again, Can/Klavan needlessly conceding the throw, Wijnaldum switching off at the throw and being beat easily and then Klavan dangling his leg in.

Just poor concentration all round really.
