Two big first team improvements for a player you are unable to use for almost a quarter of the season anyway.

I like the idea of the deal, I'm not a massive fan of Cech though, but he is an improvement. I don't think Walker is an improvement on Aurier either though personally so I'm going to have to turn it down.

I'd be more open to losing Godin because of his current injury right now. But to lose Godin for Mascherano, I'd need a significant improvement elsewhere really.

I probably wouldn't do a straight swap for him no. Simply because I'd like a CB in return I could use or potentially release in order to get someobdy better potentially if I could.

Possibly but in fairness, I have been offered better deals elsewhere really for him. Look at some of Hodgey's offers, seems silly to accept just a striker improvement when he's offered me more than just that for Godin before.

It's a fair offer. Just feel that I'm worse off when one of the gains is on Romero, who I'm happy with. The gap between Alves and Walker is also small, and I wouldn't swap them if Alves wasn't injured.
