Also the key to defence last night was the fact that we were winning, we just back second half and soaked u what litle Chelsea had to offer. Not so easy when you are chasing the game.

Loved wanyama when he was at Celtic..it was clear that he would go right to the top, as is was with VVD.

Good to see Souness giving him praise last night...it was well deserved.

Don't underestimate him as a footballer. He's not spectacular but he can hold his own against the best in Europe. He has already proved that point.

He's brilliant at winning the ball and rarely gives it away and won't be dominated physically by any player.

Saw someone comparing him to Graham Roberts. Don't see that one I'm afraid. Comparing a donkey to a thouroughbread there.

Good luck to spurs for the rest of the season.

I was pretty vocal in not wanting us to sign Wanyama. Thought he was pretty average and the poorer of the Saints midfield pairing with Schneiderlin.

Very happy to be proven very wrong. The lad was fantastic yesterday, and has been all season.

I still think Dier has a part to play in that position, think how good he was there last year and there are a lot of games to go yet, but hats off to Victor, hell of a player so far.

I'd be comcerned about Rose lasting the season if we played wing backs every game, unless we can sign an alternative in the window.
