thing with the new game mike/raptor is u can download mods etc which really improve the game design too. i havn't even bothered though.
I have this on PC and did all the mods thing which made the game much better in my opinion. I didn't spend a lot of time on it to be honest but got about 30 hours played and it's pretty good. Never really got all the hype with it though. Had to mod it just to make it playable.

I didn't need mods to rack up tonnes and tonnes of hours on the original for the 360, so I'm fine with the game as it is, but I might try a few.

it is a limited amount of mods as far as im aware tho...nowhere near the level you could get on the PC. There was some real game changing mods available on PC, the best I found by far was the combat and AI mod that changed completely how the computer fought you and made it far more challenging and interesting. I also think that Sony have even further limited the mods to Bethseda approved or made mods someone my be able to confirm that tho?
I thought I was getting somewhere in game, then opened the map and saw how many towns I have yet to discover.
Each town brings a whole heap of new stuff to do. Decided to go a bit further with the main missions and met Pete the Dragon (the old friendly one) on the mountain and done some stuff for him.
That Chiltern Sword you get form the companions is pretty cool though.
One thing I wished I hadent done was return the master key at the end of the thieves guilds quests. Should have used it for more missions and returned it at the end of the game

I got it just before Christmas having never played it before. I have sunk many hours into it.
How many hours have you put in Lefty? You seem to be ahead of me in some respects, but I have spent a long time on Solstheim early on in the game.
I have no idea how any hours, but a fair few. I have regressed through the main missions, but think that will be on hold for a while, while I strutt my stuff in some new towns and complete some side missions.
®åρtor✡ - I know - but I'm joining anyway. They look like a nice bunch, the doorway is quite welcoming and I would like to do as much as possible. So I'll be one of the caaants this weekend

I loved Skyrim.
How are you playing it? I think my first run through was as a sneak archer, but I enjoyed another play through with significant conjuration skills. Smithing was also pretty useful, but I could never get into potions.
I stopped using a companion pretty early too, especially since they ruin your sneaking attempts. Although they are useful for carrying excess loot.

They also take away potential xp away from enemies..never take companions/followers in any of the elder scrolls or fallouts

My tip would be to buy a house as early as possible so you can start storing things there, particularly dragon bones and unique weapons.

Any tips on where to buy a house, or how to?
I'm playing an Argonian (I like the breath under water perk). I play both sneaking and full our Tony Montana scarface. Use some magic, but want to improve conjuring stuff.

Everything you need to know in there.
I remember when I played through I ended up getting the house in whiterun quickly before I ended up making the one in solitude my "main residence"
I mean you got to think about the family and solitude had the best schools and you know I just needed to make sure that my wife had a big place where she would have the space she needed to make out house a home...

I had that bird the Jarl from Whiterun offers to me as companion earlier on, but then when i teamed up with the fella from The Companions she went back to Whiterun and now i cant find her
I need to start doing some smithing as I've picked up enough iron ore etc. Never interested in the magic and potion side of things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Grind the smithing and enchanting as much as u can..u can then create armour and weapons that are as good as anything in the game. There is a quest were u can get a unlimited black soul gem that is perfect for grinding the enchanting

Black soul gems are hard to find from what I remember the last time I played. There was some witch in Dawnstar(I think) that could reverse the spell on you once you become a Companion or Assassin. Took me ages to find one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a quest I'm sure it's.with the makes were the reward is an unlimited.black soul gem..u only need one
I no lifed the remastered version and got the platinum in 20days, I literally spent so much time on it!
I never really got into it before but I have to say the dragonborn DLC was awesome
Will come back to it one day and mess around with the Mods!
