got to the semis on the pes competition but there was only 8 players then

I consider myself a decent Fifa player, but the players we had at those tournaments, SB, Kent, Voom, Saggy.

They were amazing, hard for anybody to anywhere near the trophy with those around.

i used to think im great at fifa

but since fifa 12 either i have realised im not that good or i have just so bad.

I believe the latter. I use to win most my online games quite easily now its harder.

although i consider myself a much better player since your tournaments

Fifa now is just too much, bit by bit they've killed me off, tactical defending was the start, then it got harder and harder to the point it's almost impossible to cross and head to score now, and if you don't know any skills you just get tackled at will.

And for someone who pretty much invented the cross and head goal technique and was the master at it, and someone who doesn't use analogue and still uses the d-pad, it's pretty much impossible now.

Tried to reinvent my technique but just don't play it enough anymore, 5-6 games a week, and most of them i just play pro clubs

Yeah they've totally nerfed crosses this year. Everytime I cross the ball in either the keeper catches the ball, or the defender clears it away.

I have got one technique still up my sleeve on how to score a certain way that i've never seen anyone use, but only works in probably 1 in every 3

Having the tournament all on one day made it feel more rewarding winning it. Must have been stressful organising it though

Absolutely.

Problem was is you couldn't please everyone and the last min pull-outs meant the format had to be re-done.

Though I did enjoy them as you could tell from my 7 million word reviews

I tried making highlights of the games for the PES tournament I hosted, though getting other people's recordings of the game would be difficult and probably more hassle than it's worth

I would have joined if the tournament was going to be played out on 1 day. Those old tournaments that Tyke hosted were great.

Well I always used to have tight games against the best players like SB and Kent and then I'd match you and get a beating.

I think it was only once where I've taken part. Thought I could go all the way (won all my games) but had to leave for work, it was a 1 day tournament so my younger brother took the mantle and lost.

It's better this way I guess. If everyone finish earlier than the 5th of February then there's nothing to say we can continue asap.
