Ok I have found something for you to mull on.
Anderson's average in India 33
UAE 20
Sri Lanka 40
Overall average of 31 in the subcontinent.
That's good stats Serial.
Its gone quiet all of a sudden LWE...
The biggest issue England had last time in Australia wasn't our bowling. It was our batting.. we got bowled out fro 200 far to often.. Time before down under.. we were scoing 450 regular.
If England are going to win in Australia.. we need to bat well in the first innings.. You do well with the new ball in OZ.. but once the seam goes off the ball, You could be 100 for 4 and then be 400 for 8..
I have to say I have questioned most Pakistani spinners over the years .Their actions leave a lot to be desired.. But Yasir Shah as a very clean action..
Same cant be said for Ahswin.. every so often their is a slight kink in the arm.. He gets away with it. because he does it once every 8/9 balls.
Serial dismissed the Anderson myth
Anderson is one of the best at reverse swing too. He might get the odd nail in it every now and then but he sure knows how to control the reversing ball. That's another myth laid against him that he's just a new ball bowler.

Someone like Ajmal was extreme but watching Ashwin there were times when he chucked the ball. He does make it obvious going from a straight arm to a bent one but like you said he doesn't do it all the time so get away with it.
Those are very good stats serial 👏🏻
About ashwin's action, I have always thought it was clean action. Atleast he doesn't wear long sleeves like narine, ajmal and bhajji
Mushtaq, Saqlain, kaneria, Qadir all had legal actions.

Saqlain was a very dodgy one, had he still be playing I'm sure there would have been some questions asked
I don't get why there's such a big case against these actions. I remember in the 80s when finger spinners were John Emburey, Peter Taylor, Tauseef Ahmed, Maninder Singh, dipak Patel, it was awful to watch.
Saqlain is the only bowler that was able to bowl a doosra without a dodgy action. Not once did anyone question him at the time whereas everyone used to question harbhajan and Murali.
Ashwin's is legal in my opinion, i don't really see the problem with it, just because an action is slightly unorthodox, it doesn't mean it's chucking.

Is there a more one sided bowler in tests
