'Gagging to join Utd'
Hmmm
i dont think anyone will be gagging to join united other than for the money which they can now get in china
if you get CL then maybe,
IMO Sanchez is better and will almost certainly leave Arsenal id love chelsea to be in for him
Jose takes into consideration the ratio of high players to short players within his starting 11. With Sanchez and Griezmann we'd only have 3 players with a proper height advantage, Pogba and our two CB's.
Buying Sanchez would also destroy the development of Martial who has the potential to be an absolute star and what of Rashford who is only getting a few opportunities out wide? Who would you sell or sacrifice.
Ibra will be gone soon so I agree buying a top quality forward like Griezmann and a replacement for Carrick who should already be world class.

Like it or not, with the money United have, the ability to attract world class players without CL footy, the heritage and a world class manager, they will be successful sooner rather than later.
Even LVG managed to win an FA cup with a totally unbalanced team, he missed out on CL footy because of goal difference! This team and manager can achieve a lot more.
Gagging to play Levski Sofia on a Thursday night
Lads come on we all know that as soon as we secure CL football every player on earth will want to come play for Klopp infront of the Kop, we'll have to be pickingbetween the liks fo Sanchez and Greizman over we we want to sign.
"Sanchez wants out" - do you actually have a source for this apart from a bog roll tabloid?
Should be a decent line up if we get our targets
--------De Gea----
Jones---Smallings---Rojo--Shaw
-------Herrera-----Pogba
Rashford---Lindergaard----Martial
------------Rooney----------
Bench:
Ibra
Greizmann
Miki
Sanchez
Sneijder
Bale
Ronaldo

No Fabregas? Or will he not sell enough shirts?
we've been able to attact pogba, mhiki and zlatan without cl football, players who wouldn't dream singing for the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, arsenal or city if they weren't playing cl football

I was dying for us to sign Fabregas because I thought he was a great player but was glad we didn’t because I never rated him.

Such a standard reply, its been proven by now that players do not pick a club in the CL.
Pogba and Ibra the latest examples
* players do not necessarily want to pick a club in the CL.

Fixed. They are here for the money after all
Sanchez - what a player. Top ten in the world for me.
Don't think we could get him by boy, what a signing that would be.

your right, we should have asked them to play for free
Don't think it's fair to tar every player with the same brush.
Money is probably the biggest scale tipper, but if it were money alone we'd see a lot more players heading for China.
In the case of Ibra, for example, he could have had big bucks and an easier lifestyle elsewhere.
You obviously had to offer him a convincing enough wage package, but I'd argue that never having tested himself in the PL posed an interesting challenge; also the chance to play for one of the most prestigious clubs in world football, and the opportunity to hook up again with Mourinho, who he holds in high regard, must both have helped quite a bit.

I think Ibra was set on going to the PL to prove a point for anyone who said he'd never have been able to do it in england (which is nonsense).
He can say at the end of this season "I scored 20 (just picking a number) goals at 34 (age?) Imagine what I'd have done at 25"
I actually think united madrid Barcelona and bayern should just become a sort of Harlem Globe Trotter type deal,
travel all over the wold playing games like once a fortnight, think of the revenue and sponsorship you could get, you could sign people up on year contracts for 300k per week to make sure you get the best players
much better for a brand
