To be fair , timmy , the tv ratings for pretty much all the major sports leagues in America have been low in the past year ... I blame Trump
i usually watch the utd games on nbc
i love the fact they don't see to let bias swing how they call things or pamper to egos
only downside is I now using terms like turnover when talking about soccer
I like the NBC coverage especially over the poor BY sport coverage we have here

Over saturated market. Football has lost a lot of its appeal these days.
I tend to watch on NBC even if it is on Sky, completely agree.
I was there in august and I thought the same thing, was brilliant watching all the football then heading off into the city to explore.
Interesting you say that about Boston, I was in Portland and most of he football fans I met were pool or united fans.
Viewing figures have not been dropping rapidly.
And guess who their prime premier team to show are?
I have also been telling our boys on here that the coverage is better than that in the UK.
Since SFR bought the rights its on free here in France, so long as your supplier is SFR or Numericable. Which mine is Hurrah

They have and not just abroad at home as well.
I managed to catch a Liverpool match when I was in Colorado about 3 years back, even if it was 8am on a Sunday morning, It was great fun. I was hungover from the night before, but back on it. Got chatting to the LFC supporters club in Colorado, who loved the fact I'm Scouse. Didn't have to pay for a beer while I was there

They have not been dropping rapidly. They fluctuate. What NBC have done is make sure their prime teams get ample air time.
United are always on. As are City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

I think the OP missed Alexei Lalas, who IMO is one of the best pundits around, full stop.
Rosso
He isn't an NBC pundit, and he is an idiot, full stop.
Thanks for that info but Robbie Earle , Robbie Mustoe and Kyle Martino facking ell- is thatvthe best they can do
Like Klopp said during the festive fixtures that they play all these games but its not even available on the telly to the fans.. ridiculous!
Streaming is the only way i guess

They are all very good pundits. They called Rooney being crap well before any one in the U.K. dared to. They have no bias to any team either.

Who does he co-commentate for VC? Thought I'd heard him on there?
Regardless, he's been excellent when I've heard him commentate on United games. For one, he completely ignores common media preconceptions about players, judging them by performance, rather than reputation. For example, he was defending Rooney's omission when just about every pundit in Britain was still fawning over him. He isn't afraid to say so-and-so player just isn't cutting it.
Secondly, he's tactically very astute. He picks up on and explains real time small changes in tactics that managers are making that other co-commentators would never even spot.
Finally, he's actually interesting. You don't hear the same old tired cliches for him, there's no Owen-esque "...at the end of the day, as a striker, it's all about scoring goals..." type bollox.
I've been very impressed with him. Comes across as a smart and very knowledgable guy.
NBC have excellent coverage. I live in the Cayman Islands, Caribbean, for the last few years and the coverage is ridiculously good. The local tv company have exclusive rights in the Caribbean region and show every single premiership game live on different channels. Also the fa cup and league cup is live in addition to all the European games. Cost per month is usd22.

NBC has Jason Sudekis (Olivia Wilde's husband) do comedy promos. It's like a 5 min clip of an American POV of British football

I cannot stand alexei, I've never watched a match where I've had to turn the sound off just to continue watching, but I had to with him.
Lallas is fox sports... he's one of those you really like or absolutely abhor😁 I think he's ok but rarely listen to pundits these days, can't stand any of them, and he rarely does commentary.
I love the time difference. You can get up early and watch the lunchtime game then a three o'clock game then the late game, and still have most of Saturday left.
