Wigan team news;
Andy Kellett is set to continue to be sidelined having missed Monday's defeat to Huddersfield through injury, while Shaun MacDonald and Nick Powell made their returns in that match and are likely to be involved again. Ryan Colclough also made his return for The Latics after finishing a loan spell at MK Dons and he will be pushing for a starting spot.
Kellett joins a lengthy injury list that includes David Perkins, Craig Morgan, Luke Garbutt, Reece Burke, Adam Bogdan, Reece James, Alex Gilbey and Donervon Daniels.

Perhaps Fox will be fit and available for selection at left back? This would allow Cash to revert to midfield where we look to be very light, although Kasami looked in the hi light's to have put some steel into his game after his spell on the side lines.
It looks like Perquis has returned to the squad after his head/jaw injury and I expect Henderson to retain the goalkeepers jersey.
Stoic, needs a spell down the local boxing gym to put some steel into his game.
I hope P.M doesn't use Brit as a target man again, because that didn't pay dividends against Barnsley. I favour him used in the poacher role where he showed his formidable skill's in plundering two goal's against Ipswich.
It's going to be a weird game where it might only be the players that are up for it.
PM is all but sacked if the Americans arrive Tuesday.
The most fans are waiting for the takeover as the toxicity around the club is an all time high with fawaz.
Maybe the players might see this as a good time to advertise themselves to the prospective new manager.
Either way, it's nice to have a game where even if we lose, we won't get too down about it
Thanks for doing the thread bear.
We're in a strange limbo land now; all just waiting for Tuesday and hopefully a presser announcing the new set up. I suppose we are all also thinking hope Fawaz doesn't foul it up for us at the eleventh hour.
The owners in waiting have said they have been holding interviews and I take that to mean we can expect a new head coach not just board members. Bit rough on PM he's never really had a chance, but his summer signings have been very disappointing to be honest.
Will the team today be able to lift themselves knowing a new man might be coming in. (Will Rowett be in the ground somewhere?)
I think Britt will not be risked today. Vellios to start, preferably with Bendtner as a second striker.
We should be able to win this.
Henderson; Lichaj (c), Hobbs, Lam, Mancienne; Dumitru, Cash, Pereira, Osborn; Bendtner, Assombalonga
Stojkovic, Mills, Carayol, Lica, Perquis, Grant, Vellios
What is that then? 5-3-2? 4-4-2? 4-1-3-2? 5-4-3-2-1?
Got to be 4-4-2ish, but who is wide and who central midfield.
Probably Dumitru Lam Osborne Pereira
Probably R50, not the strongest midfield we've ever fielded though.
Apparently there's going to be just as many forest fans as Wigan fans
Sort of a nothing game.
Of course would like to win but we have a lot more important things happening off the pitch.
I think it is funny that there are more forest fans than Wigan. Well done to them as therefore hasn't been much to cheer about.
I think PM has gone with two strikers because of the midfield absentees.
Almost 1-0 up, dimi offside
Will be interesting to see if the hype around the Bendtner, Assombolonga partnership which there was a few months ago comes to anything.
Could be a few goals today. Sounds like we are not defending well, but Britt and Bendtner causing a few problems
Don't get what Velios has done to not get games. He should be up front with Britt instead of Bendtner. Looks like one of the weakest midfields we've fielded in a long time.
Agree Vellios performs. Bendtner doesn't seem interested but seems to start because of his name.
Dumitru off, Vellios on. Let's have a genuine 4-3-3 or drop Lam into a back three and go 3-4-3
Well, we sound on the ropes abit
Wigan should be 2 or 3 goals up by now, no one in a Forest shirt is giving me any confidence in this team.
Well I said the players might be the only people up for it and it looks even they aren't. Laws is spending half of commentary talking about players never being in position.
BBC commentary is almost always light on the criticism but I've never heard them lay into anyone like they have dimitru tonight.
Must be having a blinder.
