Your guess is as good as mine
Interesting table that shows that players like Coady and Enobakhare have certainly been two beneficiaries of Lambert's arrival.
Saiss, Teixeira, Oniangue, Wallace and Borthwick-Jackson have all disappeared from the first team and Gladon and John remain sidelined. I guess we can deduce from that lot the players that he would like to move out in January.
Ronan, Williamson, Evans and Mason are all ones we can expect to see play more.
Looks like we will only see a couple of new faces in January unless we can offload at least half a dozen
I like this article, it's well ballanced and informative at the same time.
Most promising thing to me is that he is selecting youngsters with genuine quality on the ball, we will reap the rewards if that trend continues.
Interesting that 9 of the first 11 yesterday were of jackets squad.
Pretty clear what Lambo thinks of Fosun/Zengas foreigners.
Interesting this, given that Lambert has stated he needs to trim the squad. There's now relatively few that are certainties for the chop. Tex and John will probably have their loans cut short, Gladon will probably go out to get games, Flatt had already gone on loan.
Oniongue probably needs some loan games too once fit. Evans had a good game yesterday by all accounts, does he stay or go now? Williamson must stay, a month ago we thought he was finished, yesterday he put in a 9/10.
Its going to be a tough to make judgements on the squad as so many of them have just had so few opportunities to play and develop any match consistency . Do you retain Evans based on one good game when you have so many options in his position?
Then there's the youngsters, great that they're getting games, but expands the squad still further. Plus any additions that may come in, Lambert could still find himself working with more than 30 players come Feb.
If you glance at the title it looks like Lambo's sausage.

.........................
yes
i've always thought he has it in him to be a cracking player but doubtful whether his attitude is right.
lambert could be the one to sort him out.
Saturday was the best we have seen from Evans for a couple of years and he has enough in his game to still have a future.
As fascinating as it is to analyse the minutiae of such things, I think it will be more interesting to see the nature of the players that Lambert brings in to the club.
As fas as utilising what we've got effectively, he seems to be the best we've had since the days of Mick. If he has the same skills at bringing in a few gems, I think we're looking at a bright future.
Fair play to Lambert for utilising the younger players and giving them a chance. So far so good for him as the youngsters have certainly not let him down. Its a very brave decision as he is putting his job on the line if it doesn't work out.
I'm glad to see Evans back too as I do believe that he will prove to be a very good player.
How many fans did Wolves take to Stoke, DJ?
I'd probably take Evans over Oniangue, Saville, but if they bring this guy from Blackburn him does this relegate him again in the pecking order?
Price and Evans started out as quite different players but they seem to be have taken on some of each others qualities to become more rounded players.
End of the day Lambo's got to asses what he wants and feels he needs from the group. Some are going to be unlucky.

For Evans to play so well against a PL team must mean he has the tools to do a good job and Williamson seemed to marshall the back four superbly, c0nsidering so little play for ages that's unbelievable Jeff.
Vinnie, about 4,600.
With the performance Williamson put on, plus his organization of the whole defense makes me wonder who the 2 CB's will be against Villa. Will it be Williamson/Batth, Williamson/Stearman or Batth/Stearman.
I think you all know who I'd like.
Can't get over Lambo's sausage.

I think all combinations are possible and Hause was outstanding in the second half on Saturday. Still a player with a lot to prove but I did come away from the ground thinking he has what it takes, and I have rarely been convinced before
Williamson Batth/Hause would get my vote, time to build a partnership with an eye on next season's promotion push.
Love stears but he doesn't have a future here.

I think PL will keep the same back 4 for the game against Villa which would be tough on Danny Batth but a manager has to pick the in form players and DB is not in form.
I reckon the time has come for PL to get Danny into his office and explain why he is relieving the lad of the captaincy allowing him to concentrate on his job as a CB and let Williamson and Ikeme do all the organising of the defence.
Ikeme to keep the arm band for me.
Agree about the captaincy gem <ok

Wolves took 4,600 and if we get to play Liverpool we should be able to take almost double that.
Evans looked a very good prospect 2 or 3 years ago but had seemed to lose his way. Maybe the loan did him good but he was a key player on Saturday and I'm sure he will get more games now
