wholeheartedly disagree. always seems like we are missing something when he doesn't play. straight in the team for me
He will have his chance and there is still Europa.
No he'll come back and be as he was a important squad player.
Certainly would have helped him playing yesterday with his creativity

Exactly if Eriksen gets injured we would only have Lamela to provide creativity.
It's only last few weeks that our form has picked up really, so you could also say we have looked worse without him for the best part of the season until recently.
He's an important squad player and his return will give us more options which can only be a good thing.
I wouldn't put him straight back in the team with the form they are in now, but our form may be different when he's back.
Son is growing on me, he is dynamic, direct and offers something different in attack. His decision making needs to improve though.
For games against the big 6 ( certainly away) I imagine we will play the 3-5-2 with Dier, Vert, Toby at the back. Kyle and Danny occupying the wings. Wanyama and Dembele in Midfield and a front 3 of Eriksen, Kane and Dele. In games where we feel we need to play a 3-5-2 I expect Erik to have little game time. However in the 4-2-3-1 system I expect him to battle with Son for that third position behind the striker.
Lamela is quality and goes straight into the team soon as he is up to speed following his injury.
One of our best players last year and he adds another dimension to our attack.
Lamela is an important squad member and I think he will have a role similar to sissoko and son when back - another option off bench with the occasional start if the game suits him.
hes been our for ages though
It's going to be a while yet before he is back, Poch was talking 'weeks' which probably means 6 - 8.
I'd like him back in the team when fit, but can't see that happening for ages sadly
please correct his spelling in the title
I'm more worried he is taking forever to return.
I know he had a family issue to deal with and the injury back on to it but it seems like it's a bigger issue than it should of been.
I think he goes straight back in on the right hand side when fit . I do think we can strengthen there though.
in all seriousness I think he and that right midfield position is our weakest spot within the first 11. We need another keeper and clearly another forward to enhance the squad but first 11 wise I would certainly put him as the least worthy of starters if that makes sense?
LLM
You keep talking about that right sided position but 3-4-2-1 seems to be our default formation Now.
We play with 2 behind be Kane so it's between Alli, Eriksen, Son, Lamela, Sissoko and Onomah. .
Nkoudou an option out wide when we revert to a 4-2-3-1.
Lamela will probably start cup games and be on the bench for the remainder of the season cos of this injury so he's fighting fit next season
I doubt he will go straight in, but he would have been better yesterday as 'Eriksen' instead of Sissoko as we were short of forwards, and the ones we had were not our most creative.
The sooner he is back the better. The games will be coming thick and fast in February, plenty to go around
