Of course it's an issue. If we're not spending big on the actual transfer fees then we need to be all over the scouting to try and find the high potential while they're affordable. There's talent in Germany and Belgium (Tielemans) so rather than having scouts pass through there and miss out we should have a strong presence there. The Bundesliga is the most similar to the PL in terms of style of football, level of football and culture so buying players from there should make for an easier adaptation to life.

Apart from the blatantly obvious signings such as Alderweireld and Wanyama, our transfers in recent times have left a lot to be desired. Really facked off with our scouts or the restrictions placed on them.

It'll all come together in good time

Reckon we will be getting a long term DoF to replace Mitchell

Something fishy is going on with the scouts with the whole Paul Mitchell handing in his notice, other scouts leaving etc. Something must have happened?
