that celebration at Bournemouthsuch a losers mentality ! go and get the ball out the net and help your team win the game !
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just like Mauricio Taricco celebrating a Spurs draw against Arsenal so much he injured himself
----------------------------------------------------------------------
all the way back then?this happened the other week
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact that he was so elated may have been down to the fact we were 3 down and came back. I like to see players celebrating like that. Shows they give a monkeys. Footballers are not robots.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

draw........... no thoughts from him about winning the game?

loser mentality prancing about doing scorpion kicks instead of going for the winner

to compare, when kane scored that pen equaliser against west ham he went straight for the ball, showed his intent,.... and we won the game in the last minute of stoppage time

loser giroud
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aww you are such a cheerful chap aren't you.

Loser Giroud with his gorgeous missus, mansion, fame and wealth. Even his beard is more interesting than Harry Kane.

However why do you think that a player should be happy for dropping two points against a team you were expected to beat?
==========
Because we were 3 down with 20 minutes to go?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oxo and Alexis had a different attitude. Obviously they were angry at themselves for exactly that. And the difference was that as a team they did not feel a draw was a positive outcome. I think their attitude is more likely to win a title than one which is elated after a come back however good it may have felt at the time. I think the worst attitude was actually Wenger who at the time hailed Arsenal's character rather than admonishing the team for being 3-0 down with 20 mins to go.

I used to be envious when Spurs used to have flair players like Hoddle, Waddle and Ardiles and we had Brian Talbot and Ian Allinson. Now look at them with Harry Kane and Pocchetino who are about as interesting as a pot of beige paint.

In the past Spurs had sexy football and won feck all now they play solidly, close play down and rely on Kane to score (rather like GG's Arsenal). However, they still win feck all.

We get criticised (quite rightly) for not winning the title for 12 years but Spurs last won it 16 years after the end of World War 2.

All forgetting the fact that Bournemouth were in no rush to restart, and even sprinting back to our own half would not have sped up the restarting of the game...

Giroud is not a loser but he did let adrenaline get the better of him in that moment. But Arsenal (we) have been so conditioned to mediocrity for the last few years by the manager and some in the squad are used to it.

100% right. He is a human being who was elated that we'd equalised. We'd played crap and stole a point and Giroud's goal could prove vital in our quest for the top 4 trophy

To assassinate Girouds character like that over one celebration is just plain dumb, and it shows ignorance.

Yes he's limited, but you can't question his mentality, he's always up for a fight. I wish certain other members of the squad keep going like he does.

Would I have liked him to grab the ball straight away?Yes, I would have, but I can also fully understand why he didn't. We came back from 3-0, completely underserved having played like utter shiiiiii. Plus, the man himself got 2 assists and the equalising goal.

Also worth noting that in the lead up to the game his ego had been massaged considerably after the scorpion kick. His goal was all over the news and media. And not just sports broadcasts.

Think it’s fair to allow him a bit of indulgence after the week he had.

In a nutshell mate.

He score a goal in the 92nd min to steal us a point and he is expected not to celebrate. Spurs would bring out a DVD if they did the same and parade it down Seven Sisters Road

Yeah but that would mean that our fans couldn't be such utter killjoys and find anger in even the most joyous moments. Honestly I wonder why half of our lot even watch football if it makes them so unhappy.

They should have tried watching us in the early 80s when winning a corner was celebrated like we'd done the double

Fair enough but that is a different point. Would you not celebrate a winner against say Chelsea in 2 weeks even though we might still end up in 4th spot in May? Course you would.

If people only watched the game to celebrate title victories then 99% of fans would be unhappy

Not if you have seen the team win trophies.

Look Gin, I like you enthusiasm and all that. But after a while the team, the management, gets stale. You have to shake things up. Even if it initially means a step backwards as long as fans see some progress. Arsenal have stopped. Thats why there is so much frustration in the fanbase. Top 4 is not enough anymore.
