Yes Vinnie Costa played well on Saturday, and yes Dicko should have played him in rather than shoot, a reflection of his desperation for a goal.
There was some great hold up play by Bodvarsson later who was totally isolated when he got the ball but held off the defenders for what seemed an age before playing in Bright to shoot just wide.
I thought there was plenty of good football on Saturday including a brilliant run and cross by the Villa left back before crossing for McCormack to head over when he should have scored

That Amavi is a good player. He was unfortunate to be out injured for the majority of last season, as if he wasn't he would undoubtedly have got a move away following their relegation.
James Henry has put Bolton ahead at Palace
Fantastic ! Lincoln score in the 90th ! Mick on the way out
Plymouth Liverpool on bt2 tomo
Incredible record Mick has against lower league opposition since taking over Ipswich, just one single win in ten attempts
Am i the only one wanting Liverpool to win tomorrow?
Ipswich very poor tonight, Lincoln deserved winners on the night
Yeah man, not so bad. You?
Just trying to find some focus for the year, need something to get me going.
Played football we won 8-1 but I didn't enjoy it at all
Why? Didn't grab the glory
Not played for seven months . Started exercising the last few days and did three miles yesterday and am stiff as shat!!!
Old age tino, it sucks.
Nah was em I like a proper game
yeah man, agreed, if we were blowing out a team i would often opt to change sides so as to go up against my team, livened things up a bit.

Yes I agree this was a cup match so one of those things that happen occasionally
With Oniangue and John now gone Wolves are negotiating the cancellation of the loans of Borthwick-Jackson and Teixeira. We will have to agree some pay off as we had originally agreed to pay their wages for the season. Seems unfair on the players that the system works like that cause they are in limbo.
Not so simple with Gladon who has played for Heracles and Wolves this season and the rules do not allow him to play for a third club. So I guess he will be here until the summer
I think Mick has had his day.
It's a shame we'll be stuck with Gladon (Bad-un) as he'll not get any game time but I'm glad PL is sorting through the Zenga dross.
Bad-un can always join in on the wonderful match threads if he's not gonna be called upon ? I'm sure he'd jump at the chance

why, in the face of the facts do people come out with this crap
does finishing 7th last season mean he's had his day ?
does being unbeaten against us since we sacked him mean he's had his day ?
does giving us our most successful time in the last 30 years mean he's had his day ?
I read this week that Ipswich are hoping to sign a striker from Forest Green Rovers for £20k.
When you compare that to the fact that Wolves have twice had spending sprees of £13m since Mick left Wolves then its a minor miracle, not to say an embarrassment, that he has regularly had Ipswich higher up the league than Wolves
If he, Jackett or Lambert had been given over £10m of backing at Wolves in the Championship rather than Solbakken or Zenga I suspect we would be either in the Premier League now or at least well in contention
