I'm not exactly brimming with confidence

Not confident myself but if we click like we do under Klopp sometimes we could pull off a good win.

I was thinking we'd go with Firmino up top today but if Coutinho's on the bench that's difficult. We may still see it will Origi on the left as it's our best system against the better sides.

This game has come at the right time. We haven't been playing as well as a team, especially in pressing like we were doing. We'llike see that with loads of energy in this game and hopefully pick up the win and carry it on.

There's an argument that says if Liverpool lose they will finish behind United. Liverpool peaked too early whilst United are constantly improving, and defeat would cement this trend. Would you agree?

My understanding is that United on quite an impressive run. They also beat Spurs, who have only lost a few games in a couple of years. Klopps for instance certainly hasn't beaten Spurs. Not sure that dismissing their run on the basis of opposition is a fair reflection of how significantly they are improving. Improving whilst Klopps fortunes are obviously steeply declining.

So you guys are saying that even if you lose you are comfortable you will finish ahead of Mourinho? That's quite naive in my view. It's clear who momentum is with in the case of a United victory. Also consider your pressing game will fatigue your players in the last seven or so games of the season do you might not finish strongly.

Here's to a good game
