Guessing this is a tongue in cheek article.
Was surprised to see us in 9th, did not think we were 9th richest club tbh.
Half a billion in a year. Absolutely crazy.

It really is.
Can't argue with the fact united sure do know how to generate money. Their commercial success over the last 10 years has been astounding.

The Man City figures are most impressive, they've risen up incredibly quickly.
Say what you like about the Glazers but they sure know how to generate revenue!

I mean I'm pretty sure if Hull City had 1 billion pounds to spend on marketting right now, their revenue would increase signfiicantly.
I saw City up there and my first thought was that they've been cooking the books....

That's a bit disingenuous. We have had a number of years with little to no profit as we have ~300M debt. If we were ranked on profit, I'm doubtful we'd be #1.
I hate to say it, but along with the supposedly horrible Glazers, City's folk are no fools and have done exceedingly well. It doesn't look like the house of cards many thought.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly.
I was about to reply but you've pretty much got it spot on
For a club with so little history (compared to many of the other clubs at the top of the list), the City revenue seems by far the most impressive to me.

Great, smart bloke's here
It's not rocket science. You weren't achieving anything of note, and then Roman rocks up. If he hadn't bought you, there's no way you'd have improved as quickly as you did. So it was all down to money.

How can utd expect to ever win the PL again
😆
When announcing the previous year's ranking, Deloitte's own specialists already said they expected United to take top spot for the present edition.
Biggest surprise is that Barça also overtake Madrid, albeit by €0.1M. I wonder who announced their annual revenue first...
Top of the rich list yet 5th in England
Sadly for us, this seems to be more important than the football itself.
Targeting that urban market has really paid off.
I feel an article coming on.
