Thought Toure had a good game as well.
No surprise to see Zabaleta play well in his natural position, without the instructions for the fullbacks to tuck in as midfielders.

Zabs been cream crackered since the World Cup, legs haven't been te same since really.

Shame for Jesus, would have been the perfect introduction
------------------------
Or even ressurection.
That boy Jesus looks good.
So did Robinho on his debut
I thought the referee was poor today. It was 100% a penalty, and letter of the law a red (although Sterling was pretty weak)
However, he also failed to book several City players for some meaty fouls - there were a few on Rose, one on Demebele, Walker? - whereas we were straight in the book.
The big decision will get highlighted of course, but you got the rub elsewhere. Sane's goal too, although no complaints there.
Fair play to you, great performance though
Pooch didn't reckon it was a pen... The only person I've come across who didn't it seems!
Was a pen and a red all day long
We aren't getting a fair crack of the whip from refs

What about all the yellows you escaped? There must have been at least five meaty ones that were definite bookings.
Not to say it would have made it different, but he definitely favoured you overall. It is just the biggest call went our way
What about all the yellow cards not given against us, the united game the Everton game persistent fouling not punished.
I haven't complained about the red cards we have received they were correct but ffs we can't get a penalty for love nor money even when they are so obvious bt sports say so.

Why would I care about the Everton game? We are talking about this game.
Yesterday, he favoured you with regards cautioning fouls. Every hefty challenge of ours got one, you escaped meatier ones many times.
Although it was a penalty in my opinion, Sterling was pretty weak.
Another day Sane's goal would not have stood - hand in front of body, stopping the ball. Especially a forward doing so (rightly or wrongly)
The blame lies with you not being able to finish the game off, and your keeper not being able to save a shot
We could have had two penalties

They would have been wrong decisions.
No they wouldn't and you should have been down to ten
The only right one would have been the Walker challenge. The other two on Sterling were correct decisions.
One of your goals had two clear fouls on our players preceding it.
Several of your players should have been booked. This changes how players approach things, they have to be more careful and not dive in.
You got a big bad one against you, but overall the referee was very lenient to you. Which only compounded things for us as we were playing badly and you were playing well.
That you did not win is your own fault. It took two goalkeeping errors for your goals, and we scored with our only chances
The ref was lenient, have you been drinking.
Two pens a red card not given is lenient.
We know you lot are used to mike dean levels of protection but you got nearly as good on Saturday.
Spurs fans clutching at a few missed bookings
Which two penalties do you believe you should have had?
Not clutching at straws, on performance we deserved nothing. I am delighted. What I am highiighting is myopic whingeing when you had plenty of decisions go your way too.
Bookings make a difference, whether you believe so or not. We got a couple within the first 10/15 minutes. There were about three on Rose that went unpunished. Dembele. Walker. Once a player is in the book he cannot dive in. You almost got carte blanche to do so.
One of your goals the ref let two fouls go directly before it.
Letter of the law Sane's goal was handball. Hand in front of his body and used it to block a clearance.
Stop whining and put the blame where it lies - you not being able to punish a team despite dominating the game
I am putting the blame where it lies, we get that penalty and red card do you think you would still have drawn.
Mike dean has spoiled you lot.
Dont know...what is your penalty conversion rate this season? Not great is it, no guarantee.
If you had your first ruled out for handball you would not have taken the lead, and probably would not have got your 2nd shortly after.
My Aunt does not have bollix though
Thing is everyone agreees it was ball to hand
