Pep also scraped his philosophy of playing out from the back, giving Bravo an easier day and enabling them to push further up the park, which also pushed walker and rose back, he actually did a good job on us they should have scored more
If it wasn't for Lloris having an absolutely shocking half we could have possibly even gotten the three points.
Possibly. Then again the way City were playing it was always likely they would score wasnt it? However if the ref hasn't been a complete tįt you'd have definitely dropped all 3 pts and lost walker for 3 matches.
They played the perfect game to nullify our high press. It says a lot about us that we managed to get a point from it.

You were in a stronger position before the weekend started.

Agree with everything but think Dembele was pretty poor.
Made a few forward runs but lost the ball a lot also.
Still disappointed with the result in all honesty. Well, more the performance, but we could also do with improving our record away to these top teams and getting a few more wins, considering how good we now are under Poch.
I guess most of my disappointment comes from the result reducing our chances of catching Chelsea. I'm not even worried about top 4 at this stage as I'm quietly confident we'll finish in it.

And I think you're being more generous to Eriksen than I would be with that rating, but I won't go there.

D&D - yeah thats what I was saying, I was seriously impressed with how different City looked
Harrys
Galv Poch's in-game management has been exceptional this year, especially considering how poor it was last
Zlats - I would argue we were, obviously further away in points from the top. Yet Arsenal & Chelsea had banker wins, considering this weekend I was expecting every team to catch us up if we didn't get a result I think it has served us well. We have now played a strong side away and not faltered whereas Utd & Pool have.
Lloris - 3 - Two mistakes that horrific deserve that kind of score, even if he had a superb first half
----------
the first half were saves I would expect a top keeper to make. the mistakes were absolutely shocking.
he deserves 1/10 but I have no doubt he will be back to his best next week

Tbf I was disappointed as I want to win the title so desperately as well, but realistically it wasn't a bad result at all.
Rapt
Kane - 5 - Another poor away performance vs a top side for Harry, I don't think his playing style suits it
-----------
he only had about 10 touches didn't he, one being an assist I suppose. your score is very generous though, he was appalling

Looking at away games left Vs top six ..ours is 'favourable'.

Need to do the business at home too. I want a win over Arsenal at home this time!!
Have to consider the situatin at times Chronic, Kane went missing but was very composed the only time he was asked upon.

If it weren't for Chelsea being where they are it'd be a very good result.

yeah... the assist was nice, but when we actually needed kane (the few times we actually found him in the first half) he lost it every time when we badly needed him to hold it and move us up the pitch as we were under constant pressure. really disappointed with Kane on Saturday, he is usually good on the ball
And if we can't beat Everton at home this season....
I used to think and worry that Poch didn't seem to have a plan B when a game was not panning out as he would want. He has definitely learned and adapted very well to that apparent shortcoming.
It was good to get a point in the end and see Poch trying to counter the problems facing us. However we were somewhat fortunate and we were for the main part of the afternoon outplayed.
The resilience of the team was very pleasing. The boys are developing a mental toughness and winning mentality.
You were closer to Chelsea and above Arsenal. Certainly a stronger position. Us and Liverpool faltering just means it's not ended up worse than it could have.

I agree with that Park Lane, but the other thing about the 'Plan B' which is so refreshing is he keeps the same style of football just tinkers with the players/formation. Whereas in the Redknapp days, we had a plan B but it used to be hoofball.
