He was in good form before we signed him too...
not cut out for the toughness and physical battles of the premiership..
Pity
He may have just needed more than one season to settle into the league. Personally I think all players coming from abroad should get to a second season in the league to see if they sink or swim.
Probably not but hard to say.
He was unlucky to be at the club in a season when Suarez and Sturridge were both brilliant, so he barely got a look in after the first month or so when Suarez was banned. Tough to hit the ground running like that in the PL.
He clearly has ability but whether he ever would have shown it in England is anyone's guess.
Should've kept him just for his corners

if Sterling can play in the PL aspas most definitely can.
GB reckons he was in the Suarez mold, which shows how much of a t!t he's is and just how little he knows about football.

Wasn't given much of a chance tbf
He did have the build of a 10 year old kid tbh. Premier League was just too physical for him. Similar build to Coutinho actually but Coutinho is one of the best technicians in the league so he gets away with it.

Yeah fair enough he was never going to start that season but Rodgers barely gave him any sub time either, even when we were winning by 2/3/4 goals. Just checked a couple of games and the 5-1 v Arsenal he wasn't brought on til the 86th minute, 5-1 v Norwich was the 92nd minute, 4-0 v Everton and 5-0 v Spurs he stayed on the bench. Ridiculous he never got time in these games.
he was totally anonymous tbf.
didnt help rodgers talking him up like he was a costa
