One of my favourite films.
Fun fact - Richard E-Grant is a t-total and was completely sober at all times whilst playing the always drunk alcoholic actor.
What an actor!
Is lock stock English? Top film along with Snatch.
Monty Python is an obvious one.
Probably my era but the likes of The Full Monty, This is England, Notting Hill (English?)
Never really been into watching old movies pre-1980
All Norman Wisdoms work
😉

Loach's stuff from back in those days is absolutely brilliant.
Away from Loach, Ladykillers is a personal favourite.
The Coen Brothers' version was probably the most disappointed I've ever been with a remake.
Loach's most recent movie - I, Daniel Blake is sensational. Fully recommend it.

I was just telling to myself I've got to get back to watching his films. Seen very little of his stuff since moving out here, as it rarely gets a theatre release. Looking For Eric was the last I remember (not up there with his best, but still loved it).
ID, best hooligan film ever
