What would be the point of getting top 4 as it would mean playing possibly an extra 6-8 games depending on whether we negotiated the qualifying round of the Champions League
We are currently 5-8 players of mounting any sort of challenge for a trophy if we have to play more than one game a week
I have tickets for the Burnley game which is when the next round of the cup will be , was expecting to have to cancel . Not sure that's an upside based on today !

Luckily there will be a transfer window before we play in Europe.
Genuinely the worst I've felt since Hodgson.
We've been worse since, but consistently worse.
This is so gutting because of what a spectacular trainwreck our positive season has become so quickly.
I'm supporting Cameroon later on. Need them to give Senegal a beating, then the matip stuff is forgiven.
this is pretty mind dulling football from us, its probably on par with Hodgson football atm, take results out of it just how we are playing and how we have played is bad enough.

Karius was a positive over the SH legs sure, and Mignolets done alright recently having got back in, but that alone doesnt make them good enough or convince me they are good enough.

Slate the keepers all you want, whatever. Fact of the matter is they aren't making massive mistakes costing us games. That's happening over the rest of the field.
The guys between the sticks are the least of worries right now.
You'll be happy though, since you likely won't have to see karius again this year now.

After Swansea and Saints, the Fa cup matters more....possibly with Chelsea in mind, but it is four days away, so should have played a full team.
