Id settle for having a stronger squad, which we do have now compared to the utd game. Switch out traore, rosicky, and arshavin for santos, arteta, and park/benayoun and we might have had a much better chance against them.

I think this is one of wengers major weaknesses. In my view it's pretty naive to not assess your opponents threats and in part attempt to nullify them.

Man U game was a maassive case in point for this, ok we had a very weak squad, but to then send them out to play with a high line and no defensive cover was pretty much suicide on a football pitch.

I'm a fan of wenger but this shortcoming is slightly baffling for a man who prides himself on his intellect.
