I'm going to stick my neck out here and say I agree with FFS. Yes, I'll incur your wrath Dilly, amongst many and I'm prepared to bear up and absorb it.
As I've said time and time again, I'm very much guided by what you chaps report on here on a weekly basis, whether it be regarding formations (and the wrong ones being implemented on the day as it has turned out on occasions), players coming and going, the 'mood' within the club at this precise moment in time etc etc.
Of course a new manager would have to make do with the squad he has in place at this juncture, but for the current manager to carry on with the way the sides have been playing in the league looks-at best-to be heading for a nosedive into oblivion. Whether there's a new man at the helm, or the present manager, they'll 'cop it' at the finish. Please tell me otherwise, give me some sort of belief that there is actually hope they'll achieve those 7 victories needed to stay afloat. Judging by what I've seen (and I can only apologise that it's been nothing more than armchair TV or radio listening) they are heading down.

No wrath coming your way at all Downsouf, you are entitled to your opinion as we all are.
We are just on opposite sides of the Dunge fence

While you are correct that we only need 3 sides to be worse than us, that is no way to look at the remainder of the season. We should be looking at the rest of the games as all being cup finals, and each player is playing for their future with our great club.
We want passion, commitment, energy, drive, desire and hunger. All things that the players have been severely lacking so far this season.

I think it's all down to player power now, unlikely CR will go unless the players turn against him, the owners certainly don't seem to panic.
Does anyone have any actual knowledge of who is to blame for our recent disasters in the transfer market?
I understand Rudkin is responsible for negotiations but does he also decide how much we bid for a player? Does he make the final decision not to bid more than X amount or does someone else make that decision?
Personally I can't imagine Rudkin has the final say, if he does then he has to go but if it's the owners then what difference will it make replacing him?
