awful pass from torres, but game over
which is why I dont think he is good enough
too much tinkering AVB,learn the lesson today.
We played well, i just hope we can learn to maintain the pace
we look vulnerable at the back from what i've seen so far this season. what what their goal like?
Shouldn't have brought Malouda on and should have kept Mata on
Mopre excuses for Torres now because Mata wasn't on the field
Major LOLing over on the Pool thread.
These torres excuses are a joke!
Vialee..........we are nowhere near solid enough at the back.
Im sure stoke have won but te bbc websites saying 1-1
TBK
Not making excuses for Torres, but Malouda has a couple of chances to slip the ball through to Torres, but didn't
Good thread Mata <hug>
btw what was the stoke-liverpool score
1-0 or 1-1?
The Official Liverpool Suppotes Club aka BBC would have you believe it was 1-1 but they lost 1-0
People enjoying Torres' struggles far too much. He's a Chelsea player ffs.
More importantly Meireles looked good, offers far more than Mikel IMO and Im a Mikel fan. Mata is a superb player but a bit worrying how much we struggled when he came off.
Good performance, good win.

Agree completely with this. Lost control of the game.

Not only did we lose control, the pace stopped almost instantly
I don't think we struggled because Mata came off, we struggled because AVB changed the system.
He is a young manager and he is going to make plenty of mistakes, and he made one today.
I don't think that Chelsea struggled towards the end because of anything you done wrong; it was more to do with Sunderland putting two up front, which came far too late in my opinion.
