Bottom line, under RDM we drew 1-1 at their place, when they sneaked a 90th minute goal. We weren't happy. This was far, far worse.

It ain't the players. Even if he plays 4 attacking mids they don't have to play like that; don't tell me at least one of Lansbury or Hourihane couldn't play a defensive role, in fact I think Hourihane has done that. And the players tried, tried until the end.

Fact, there was no game plan. It was park football, just go out and go at them. Barnsley had a game plan. It worked. They could predict how we played.

Bruce really has to go.

Yes, getting rid of Rowett was not only a surprise, but positively reckless; more so with the board putting all their faith in Zola. Just when we thought we could be challenging for a play-off place, the board pull the rug and shaft with a donkey of a manager,

As for Villa - last season the fans wanted Lerner out; well he's now gone, and replaced with Tony Xia. What do you think he will do now? Stick with Bruce or press the panic button?

I should be feeling a sense of snugness at just how useless our former tormenters are currently....But I don't.

It's past the point of being funny now.

Wolves, Blues, Villa...ffs

It's management, pure and simple. There were issues in the past, but this is a new group of players, with good reputations. There is a problem here and now and it should be sorted before it festers.

Paddy - who could replace Bruce? Here's just one candidate. I'd have gone for Clarke not bruce in the first place. Clarke is highly thought of at Villa, came close to getting the job, and tried to get him to stay; Clarke didn't want to work under Bruce so went.

Clarke has well thought of as a coach, had years at Chelsea as assistant manager including to Mourinho, also Liverpool under Dalgleish; Liverpool also wanted him to stay when Dalgleish went but Rogers wanted his own team. Did a very good job at Reading.

Bruce did very well when he came in, but remember it was a Clarke-coached team he took over. I reckon the problems earlier were down really to RDM being unable to influence matches rather than Clarke's coaching; overall RDM's record wasn't actually a disaster but it was below par.

So, one candidate for the short list. There will be others.

The way to build a team is know the skills of your players then add them, not just change for change sake. Look at how well Villa are doing if you don't believe me.

I'm actually not having a pop at Villa.
